That’s absolutely true what you are saying! Initially I thought I had to spend a fortune on toys but most of the toys were never touched . A simple shoe lace is a great idea and something they love. I used to spend endless hours making toys. A shoelace with a scrunched up bit of paper on the end and they go nuts! Or another thing was newspaper. Even as adult cats they loved newspaper! They would sit on the newspaper on the carpet and I would pull the newspaper with cat on top and used to go crazy attacking the newspaper and tearing it up! I used to be in hysterics! It was hilarious 😂🤣 I became more hi tech and purchased a laxer pen cat toy. I have never laughed so much at a cat. I think she is a great first time kitten mum. Great choice of toys and scratch posts. I think the tunnel and especially the cat tree climbing frame is brilliant! ♥️

Beautiful kitten. Best moment in your life. Have to childproof the house. The bed is the worst spot for them to hide under. You cannot get to them. Put stuff under so he cannot go there. Once he is less afraid he will stay away and enjoy the rest of the home. Is like a baby. You have to watch every move so they don't hurt themselves. Best of luck on your journey. Just got an orange kitten today! Was going to name her Pumpkin but I settled on Esther as in the bible. She is so adorable like yours. Momo is a handsome name. Love all the gifts you bought him. I want to take professional portraits with my dear Esther. I have never done that with any of my pets.

getting a kitten tomorrow morning. Made a box with my tshirt and sewed around the inside of it so it has a comfy soft familiar scent instead of a kennel. I dont have enough money, but my friend at work is giving them away. Its light gray and the name is nugget. I was thinking about placing him in the tub. Its really large and i placed nice soft towels in there. The bathroom has its own sliding door. Plus i own two rhodesians. The kitten will stay in the tub since the dogs arent allowed in the bathroom. Anyways, super excited. just wanted to share the great news!! We're so excited!! Ive begged my hubby for a year now. Hehe

Momo is a darling boy, I'm sure he is a great companion to you, 2 yrs after you posted this video. I think I'd have name him "Target" due the the big circles of coloration he has on both of his sides. I normally name my cats (I have 4) by physical traits or personality, usually waiting for the kitten to "tell" me what his/her name is.

I just got my kitten she’s 8 weeks old it’s her first night I have her in room it’s pretty cat proof but for over night while I’m sleeping I got her a travel pop up crate thing I put her little box in and her bed and a few toys, she slept a lot today but I did wake her up and play with her for a hour she played hard and now she’s in that travel dog pop up crate she’s asleep so I’m gunna try to get some sleep I hope all is well when I wake up. I have a almost 4 year old daughter and a small dog and now a kitten I have my hands full 😂 And mine hasn’t pooped but she’s peed a few times but hasn’t drank but ate some so I hope she poops and drinks tomorrow 😂 I’m gunna be a mess for awhile until she,I and the dog are adjusted 😂

Nice video! My only 2 concerns is the hooded litter box and the litter box liner. If you buy a hooded litter box, there's a chance that your cat wont be able to see where it's digging or pooping and can accidentally step on poo frequently. There's also a litter box liner. It basically just makes cleaning up your pet's poo and pee easier and faster. All you have to do is scoop the poo out and take a layer of liner off the get rid of smelly litter to easily place clean litter.

I have 4 fur babies and in the past have had up to 8 grown not including the kitty babies, kittens are a joy to have each one has their own personality, have fun they do run the house not you! Okay so I know this was 3 months ago but have you heard of a litter genie? It's a smell proof thing you can scoop litter into and take it down when it's full. I just got one and its life changing. Makes it easier to scoop all the time too because it just goes right into it's own closed smell proof bin.
