Tiffany Coleman is the IRB Office Director for the Augusta University IRB. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Research and Master of Public Health degrees from Walden University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Applied Health Sciences at Augusta University. Tiffany is also a Certified IRB Professional.
Tiffany has two decades of experience serving the community through research and community engagement efforts. She is very active in educating the community about the benefits of research and research participant rights and the importance of research within underrepresented and underserved communities.
Tiffany co-founded the Diversity in Research Initiative within the Augusta University IRB office. This initiative focuses on community outreach and beginning the difficult conversations regarding ensuring the adequate and fair representation of underrepresented groups in research. As a speaker at national conferences and a subject matter expert on several discussion panels, Tiffany’s contributions to human subject research span outside the local community and can be seen nationally.
