Tiffany I love you and have since we were the same age! My only wish is that you will come to Michigan sometime soon and play your wonderful songs. Your voice is so much stronger now, and as much as I loved I think we're alone now as you were younger, the remake sounds so much more powerful! Love ya and have a wonderful day!

Did they even discuss how successful was the single If Love Is Blind in Asia? It was like even bigger than ITWAN. Google it guys!

I wanted to hear about the Jetsons. That’s how I heard of Tiffany. I also wanted to know why this wasn’t released in the USA

I grew up with this album. It still is one of my favorites that I play often. I remember buying the original CD import from Japan because it wasn’t released in the US. Even though you didn’t get a chance to write just know it still is a great album & thank you for talking about it ❤

I don't know if Celine Dion or Whitney Houston looked at their music the same way that Tiffany does. Both of them aren't songwriter, they're vocalists. But maybe they had more freedom or better deals that Tiffany? All of this is confusing...

tracks 13 to 18 were added later on a re-release in 2005, they were actually recorded for her first 2 albums not this one

I loved this episode! The pictures really added to watching this, especially the adorable pics of Tiffany and her son Elijah! I loved when Lindsay asked her favorite and least favorite parts of the album, I was surprised by the answers. I learned so much about my favorite artist Tiffany that I did not know before!

“Directions” was the second album from Oklahoma-based pop/rock band PC Quest. Unfortunately, the album did not chart, and as far as I know none of the songs were released as singles. Interestingly, PC Quest was managed by George Tobin, who also managed Tiffany. Three of the songs originally recorded by PC Quest were covered by Tiffany on her 1993 album “Dreams Never Die.” At the time, Tiffany did not realize the songs had been written for another act; when she found out, she ended her business relationship with Tobin.

I always preferred the song Ruthless from her 45rpm single over the dreams never die album version. I have yet to hear her sing the song in concert.

This album covers so many memories for me I could write pages. I was thinking it's probably because of what you said, that we had to wait so long to the next one. I will always be indebted to a friend who sent me the cassette before I managed to get the cd. Memories of college, my first car, my grandparents house, so much!!!

Still her best album to date. Though Pieces of Me is up there.

Hopefully you will see this question...My question for The Color Of Silence is, did Tiffany get inspired by artists like Alanis Morissette, Tori Amos and Garbage? I hear so much great influence in that album...as well as setting the bar for artists like Kelly Clarkson...i think that The Color Of Silence is an album that should have been recognized by radio, because the album does have some excellent moments! Piss U Off has the slight Alanis feel, where as Breakdown has the feeling of what would later bring us Kelly Clarkson, and the song Christening reminds me a little bit Garbage, and Tiffany pulls it off very flawlessly! Definitely an amazing album and I absolutely love the album...wishing it could get a reissue on vinyl

To be honest Tiffany was completely off my radar when this came out, up here in Canada atleast I didn't see it in the record stores or hear any singles from it. I did end up getting it on Ebay eventually and enjoyed it though

But maybe they had more freedom or better deals that Tiffany? All of this is confusing... there's no real answer. But, thank GOD, Tiffany jumped back, I still hope one of her own songs can become a Top 10 Single, because any songwriter wants that chance at success. "Tiff's Back!"

You didnt mention why this wasnt released in the usa. I figure because radio wasnt willing to give you a new start since music at the time was either grunge , r&b , and euro dance. Plus all the artists like Debbie Gibson, Tommy Page and a few others were doin well over in Asia so why bother with the picky USA. Cant wait for the Colour Of Silence...my favorite album and i got to let you know years ago when you called me how great that album was.
@jerrys9274 Жыл бұрын
In past interviews, she mentioned that since these songs weren't original songs, she stopped it from being released in the USA. She only allowed it to be released in Asia

@@jerrys9274 well that makes no since since two of her biggest hits were used old hits.
