I always get asked how I get things done so fast. I get called speedy and so on. Well this is the method to my madness.
It only took 3 in a half hours to make 48 blocks. As long as I keep to this way of things. I can easily finish quilts with the same block over and over again pretty quickly.
If you try this method let me know how smooth it goes for you in the comments below. If you already do things this way, let me know that too in the comments.

@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Again I really enjoyed watching KZbin video of your quilting. I don’t quilt because I’m too impatient. I’ve always sewn. Worked doing boat, furniture, and airplane interiors. I always hav been able to show someone who is willing yo learn how to sew and upholster. I’ll be watching again and have a great day. Thank you Betty

I don't quilt. Not yet anyway. I have many old quilts passed down through a couple of generations. As far as I'm concerned, YOU ARE A GENIUS!! You made quilting look logical and easy. I do sew and make my own patterns. Medieval patterns. I do things in my head first (and sometimes drive myself crazy). Then I put it on paper. Then I look for a mundane pattern that might lend a portion of itself to what I am making. Your technique for cutting, stacking, and sewing is just genius. Plus you explain things exceptionally well too. Kudos. I craft too. I mess with furniture too. I so appreciate any and all people who do the same. Everyone who works with their hands need to be elevated from the mundane to the artist.

I cannot get over how simple your assembly line method of quilting is. I am in shock nd very humbly awed. When you said you were not going to give the measurements, i internally screamed, "What? No measurements? I need those numbers!" I almost left your video. I'm glad i stuck around. I have sewn throughout my life, but never quilted. So i thought I'd try to make a quilt after i found this gorgeous cat panel. Honestly did not know anything other than there's a top nd bottom with the batting in the middle. Turns out quilting is expensive nd takes a lot of tedious work than anyone ever tells you. Then there were the measurements which i got wrong each nd every time despite double nd triple checking. I googled, spent hours watching KZbin videos for tips nd advice. Also found a really good instructive channel, Jordan Fabrics. After all of that, I made the top nd the back, sandwiched it, nd folded it up to put it aside. I'm honestly too scared to continue. Yet, stumbling upon this video nd seeing such awesome simplicity, I'm tempted to pull that sucker out to finish it! You have taken all the uncertainty nd insecurity out of an ancestral past time in less than half an hour. Again, i am still shocked. You have made a believer out of me, if that phrase applies. Even if it doesn't, you've definitely changed my view nd i am so grateful to you for doing so! WOW! Just, Wow.

@@ladyKrone I saw someone use tule as a pillowcase so that you could see the beautifull scraps. I like that idea too. I like looking at tamariballs but making them... I'm not in love 😅. I'll try making a pincushion. How about a magnetic pincushion? 🙀
