I believe that a man must be convicted of the sins in their life in order to be saved not just repeat a prayer. The thiefs that hung on the side of jesus on the cross one on left & one on right side. One denied jesus by saying if you're who you say you are get us down so jesus denied him. . But the other thief was under conviction told jesus to forgive him . He told him he would reign with him in paradise. Man must be convicted before converted.

I think You stated it correctly Sharon. The dead in Christ will arise first and their spirit will be reunited with their body and we believers in Christ will be caught up to meet them in the clouds. Of course both the dead bodies and the living bodies will become new heavenly bodies that are made for eternal glory with the Lord. Perhaps there are more specifics than what I’ve entered here , but I think it’s ok to not know or have every detail. We will be all knowing once we are in eternity with Jesus ❤

Good description of most of it and of dispelling some myths. However, some big points missed. The Bible also uses the term Heavens to depict governments over mankind. The old Heavens is man ruling himself as Satan challenged the rightfulness of God's sovereignty in Eden. God's kingdom is the new Heavens. (Daniel 2:44 Matthew 6:9) The little flock 144,000 are kings and priests in that new Heavens (Luke 22:29, John 10:16, Revelation 5:10, 7:1-4, 20:4-6) but they rule over the righteous faithful on earth. (Psalm 37:29, Proverbs 2:21-22, Isaiah 33:24, 65:21-25) Consider in Revelation 21:1 mentioning the old/new heaven/earth ALSO says the sea is no more. God created the literal sea as part of creation of the earth and said it was good. In fact we derive many benefits from the oceans, our life on earth probably not possible without it. That should show you that the context is not literal but a figurative one. The sea is the sea of wicked humanity that rejects God. Isaiah 57:20 says the wicked are like the restless sea that is cannot calm down. These wicked will be done away with at Armageddon. The righteous (by faith) will be left over on the earth.

However, Rev 21 is symbolic language and just a few thoughts here...'heaven' referring to rulerships/gov c Isaiah 66v1 Acts7v49 the 'new earth' cleaned up god fearing new society of ppl c Gen 11v1 Pslm 96v1 the physical earth remains forever Ecc1v4 c Isaiah 45v18 . I definitely see two destinations Jesus showed Mat5v5 and Rev14v3Rev 5v10 (their job) 'those born again to rule in the third heaven with Him'. Kings need subjects Pslm37v29 ...no criticism here just there are other texts leading to what conclusion? 💗💗

In this study, the soul is left out. The Bible makes mention of the body, soul and spirit. It is clear that the body returns to dust and the spirit to the Father. What happens to the soul then? One place in the book of Revelations, John spoke of the souls of the martyrs who were asking God for justice. In the Gospel, Jesus gave the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. It's still not clear for me where the soul dwells after death. Can you please talk about the soul please? And is there a temporary place we wait before the final judgement? Thanks

The spirit or spark of life "returns to God " as he first gave it. As Adam's body was formed and was given the breath and spark of life to become a living soul. A stillborn baby can be given breath artificially, but without the spirit of life it doesn't live. Much like a gas car engine running it breathes oxygen and has a spark to continue operating, but if it dies the creator must add the spark and breathing to continue running again. The spark doesn't go off anywhere, it is in the hands of the creator to produce it again (or not) The soul is the person as a whole, even animals are called souls in the Bible. Ezekiel 18:4 says the soul that sins will die and we are all sinners. As a whole it is both the physical body and the innermost personality. Psalm 146:4 & Ecclesiastes 9:5 shows the dead know nothing. The innermost personality is nonexistent at that point. But God remembers us and can resurrect us as we were, even knowing the number of hairs on our head. We wait unknowingly in the grave, but that is temporary as Revelation 20:13 shows the grave will give up the dead in them. Romans 6:7 says he who has died has been acquitted from his sin. In the quoted parable and Revelation the soul is only figuratively saying these things.

If you die now and you are in Christ your body goes to the grave and your soul goes to be with Jesus in heaven until we come back with Jesus at the rapture to be rejoined back with our bodies that are in the graves and we then have immortality after Jesus crucifixion on the cross he descended down in the hell to take all those on the paradise side including Lazarus up to heaven the rich man of course is still in Hades/Hell but the paradise side is empty they are all now in heaven with Jesus

The Lord knows the very hairs on our head....he knows our DNA to recreate our physical bodies....it's the same way he would have to do with someone's physical body that's in the ground decaying....he would have to recreate their physical body

I'm sure the HEAVENLY roll call and WORLDLY roll call will be very different , hope my name will be listed in the heavenly book of life. I was and am still very inspired by the song 'When the Roll is call up yonder...' Like what Tiff said, some things like RAPTURE, BIBLE do not appear in the Scripture. As long as it does not affect our salvation, I personally don't like to pick a bone from an egg.

At death our bodies, your pets body and the animals body decays and returns to the dust of the earth and each of their spirit goes back to God who gave it. And the same thing applies to us as well. And Only those who are saved will see their Pets again because the lost are no more. Because the lost are thrown into the lake of fire in the end as part of their final judgement for sin. which means they cease to exist and be no more. And God will recreate our pets and the other animals after Jesus recreates the new heavens and the new earth. Rev chapter 21. And the lost are no more. Today if you hear God's voice harden not your heart. Gen 1:24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, land crawlers, and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. 25 God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that crawls upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.” The great hope that we believers have in the Lord have is that we will be reunited with others who also believed in the Lord who followed Jesus Christ at the second coming of Jesus Christ and Jesus will recreate our pets and the animals to be with us. At death both our bodies and the body of our Pets return to the dust of the ground and our spirit and their spirit goes back to God who made us. It is the man who sinned not the animals or the earth who are victims of mankind's actions in choosing to sin. The pets, the animals and the earth are victims of mankind's actions and we are the caretakers of the earth and caretakers of the animals. This is how we know God will recreate them. Ecclesiastes 3:19-20 For what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts or animals is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same spirit, and man has no advantage over the beasts or animals, for all is vanity. All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return. Ecclesiastes 12:7 And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. And in Isaiah 11:6 The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; the calf and young lion and fatling will be together, and a little child will lead them. 7The cow will graze with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8The infant will play by the cobra’s den, and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest. 9They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water. Question: According to Luke 24:42-43,51 after Jesus resurrected he ate fish and honey then he ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19). How is it possible that the fish inside his stomach can also enter heaven?

I fully agree with you regarding a new heaven and new earth. That is our future home....earth. Otherwise why would God create a new earth? I also believe you regarding people who have been to heaven and back with some new word for us. Seems every third Christian has had this experience lol. But one thing that is sure is this verse is Heb 12:2.... Fixing our eyes on JESUS ,the author and finisher of our faith.
