Great review! I love my K8. My lil sis gave me a scooter for xmas last year and it was a great little scooter. When I was looking online for ways to beef it up, I came across a video on KZbin showing the K8 Tif Galop. I ordered one on the spot and I haven’t slowed down since. Only one wipeout and a broken hand, I still ride it everywhere and At 60 years old, I still ditch a cop every once in a while. I thought the K8 would only do 50 mph. NOT TRUE! 50 mph was where I started experiencing a speed wobble and I was doing 62 mph when I let up. Had I not shut it down, I surely would have been hurt or worse. I wear more protective gear now unless I’m just going to the store or something close. Can’t wait to see what they do to address the speed wobble and maybe adjustable height handle bar. The only complaint i have is that the wiring could have been conseeled better and less obstructive to other workings of the scooter. Zip ties could be replaced with tubing. This is a lot of power in a small package and should be given the respect it deserves or you will be humbled with its lesson on gravity and physics. Peace and be safe

i literally just bought the K8 scooter from amazon this video made me excited yet a bit nervous, i hope i can assemble it properly, its coming wednesday im hoping i can get around town maybe 20 miles out and 20 miles back home to work, with going maybe 25mph, i appreciate this. ill will keep you updated if you like. definitely keep making videos.
@RVEnthusiast9 ай бұрын
Very cool and please keep me updated with your rides and thoughts. Assembly is pretty minimal and easy. charge it uup before you ride andd youu will be good. There will be a spare part that looks electrical in nature...That is a spair part just in case your fancy LED lights go out. Good luck and congrats.

I just got the same on Amazon also. I only had a problem with getting the seat on right. Otherwise it was pretty easy. I made sure it was charged and everything was fastened. I wish you the best with your commute it will save you the aggravation of traffic and gas.

To your knowledge, does the K-8 have an IP rating? Are the tires tubeless or tube? And how easy or difficult do you think it would be, to change the tire? Thanks

Love this video and am intrigued by an e-scooter. Already have 3 EBikes in my garage and am looking to diversify 😂 I am unfamiliar with the brand and have read research suggesting to stay away from lesser known e-scooter brands. I have to admit, one of my EBikes is a “lesser known” brand and has been great.
@RVEnthusiast11 ай бұрын
I started my e-biking with lesser known brands and have been very happy with them. I have 4 scooters 3 are very powerful and one is a last mile scooter for commuting. I love this scooter. It is taller because of the 12 inch vs 10 inch wheels but I just rodde it a few days ago...Slow ride and it has been raining ever since. I got to say its very nice and I would not be afraid to buy it. Everyone says Yume is junk too but my yume is a good one. simular money this one is better. use my coupon and link if you buy it as it brings the price down my $120 bucks making it competitive with the YUME.

No I have not. I did end up buying a new handlebar. I will be putting it on soon andd I hope it brings up the height just enough. It wouldd be pefect for 5'10" or less and by getting a slightly more bent handlebar I think will be perfect. I really want to keep it a standup scooter. Just want to be younger longer LOL.

@RVEnthusiast Жыл бұрын
TY Richard. Thats my only concern, Being careful. I sure don't want to fall. Im sure I will not go even as fast as I showed 37+. At that speet and my age It will be to much to just styand up and walk away. Ambulance trip for sure. So I will slow it down for sure. For someone young that loves speed though...this is a deal. andd Tifgalop sells it for $1499 and a $120 off coupon. So $1380 is a steal for this monster.

I have an e-bike from 2010 and the battery still get the bike around 20 miles. I guessing 1000 full cycles or 3000 cycles at 30% so my guess is years and years.
