this was unquestionably the best episode of the series so far. tig held her own and went toe to toe with jeselnik for its entirety. i'm a huge fan of both and hadn't realized the similarities between their styles until this.

Tig only plays characters named Tig to raise awareness that that's a name some people have and I find that very brave. That community of 12 people finally has a voice and that voice sounds like a cross between a feisty old Jewish woman and a feisty old Jewish man. Powerful stuff.

What she does is not smart comedy. What daniel tosh, marc maron, or even louie are doing is smart comedy. Tig notaro is the most overrated comedian of the decade. Id even take schumer over her. You can be dumb as a rock and you would still get every joke she ever made as long as someone explained deadpan humor to you. So fucking overrated.
