Thanks for showing off welding with Harbor Freight equipment. I'd like to do (learn?) some homestead welding, at least steel and maybe some aluminum, but on a fixed income, HF is better than nothing. Saying what it can do is much better than telling what it can't do. Again, Thank You!!!

What size breaker and circuit does this machine require? 30 amp? 40 amp? Thinking of getting this machine but I have to run a dedicated receptacle first.

I have mine hooked up to a 230v 30amp breaker. Haven't tripped it yet, I haven't had to max it out either. Biggest project was 1/8 sq. Tubing, like in the video but it was a big cart, kept it at 150 as amps most of the time.

Will the HF tig do anodized aluminum pipe. I need to do repairs on a boat T Top and also build some rod racks. Curious if this welder will do the trick

Yes the Tig 200 comes with a pedal. No pedal on the titanium unlimited.

Other than being cheaper, How does the Titatnium 200 at $899.99 AC welder stack up against the AHP Alpha Tig203Xi for $650, the Eastwood Elite 200 for $1199, PrimeWeld TIG325X for $1,399, or the Everlast Powertig 210EXT for $1469? Are there any other top competitors under $1,500?

Haven't had the Alpha or Eastwood but I have had, and really liked the Primeweld 225. Yes I would rather have that one than the Titanium. Another that is comparable in price to the titanium would be the ArcCaptain TIG 200. I have the Titanium 200 and out of the dozens of tig units I have used, it is easily the worst. The fact they sell it for close to or more than some of your esab, HTP, everlast or even Eastwood units with more features and better consumables is wild. The pedal is comically poorly designed. The torch feels like you are arm wrestling a bear, no pre, post flow control, frequency or balance control on a $1000 welder is not a good look. Comes with regulator and not a flow meter. I mean the entire setup is junk. There is no reason to get this over an everlast. The ONLY reason I bought mine was I needed a back up the day of when mine went down for repairs and HF was open and had one. I highly recommend skipping everything in the Titanium lineup. You won’t be saving money in the long run
