Hello Andre and Anneliese.. Loving your videos.. I'm waiting for delivery of my GT Pro.. Ordered in December and expecting delivery end of Jun 2022.. With regards to the visor fogging up. I had the same problem with my Shoei Neotec 2. No matter what I did the visor fogged all the time even on sunny days. I managed to fix the problem by removing the chin curtain! Yes, it's a little more drafty around my neck, but no more fogging. My current bike is a Honda CB500 X with a windscreen like the tiger. I understand the Schuberth has a removable chin curtain. Remove it and give it a try. I think you'll find the fogging problem solved.

The c4 is just a shit helmet. Schuberth tried making their own pinlock and failed miserably. I just had the fogging around the pin lock in my neotec 2 if the pinlock is also fogging up it’s not placed properly

@@raulmorell7540 I didn't use a pinlock on my Shoei. Tried the pinlock that came with the Neotec 2 and didn't like it so that went back in the box lol. No problems at all since I removed the chin curtain. I think the problem is caused with bikes that have high windscreens causing blocking airflow around the helmet. When you remove the chin curtain the airflow problem is removed by letting some air circulate underneath the helmet. It worked for me.. Perhaps it would be different on a naked bike..

I am going to see if I can remove this on my C3 Pro. I must say I did like my full face Shoei much more. It almost feels like the flip up is not giving me that much more benefit for my use. Here in the UK I dont really ride with it up.

Awesome you must be super excited. That is a long wait I must say. I did hear from the guys here in the UK that they also have long waiting times and most of the bikes that come in is already sold.

@@Andre-Mostert Yes, I'm very excited.. It's been a long wait since I placed my order at the beginning of last December. I saw a list of Tiger 900's that were on order for my dealership. All were sold except for 1 Tiger 900 LRH. That will be sold by now. My Triumph dealership informed me that the shortage was because of the lack of computer chips that was holding everything up. Also Triumph are transferring the manufacturing of the Tiger 900 range of bikes to the UK again. It would seem that at the moment gone are the days when you could just walk into a bike dealership and buy a new bike there and then. Good luck with the removal of the chin curtain in your c3. I'm sure it will cure your fogging problems.

Although you can adjust the rear suspension at the press of the button, it does change along with the Mode soft for rain, middle for road and harder for sport. I also get cold toes on this type of bike, but changed my boots. I've ordered the rear mud fling which attaches to the rear wheel hub nut and the phone mount above the locks. Triumph app does also talk directions to you but I also like Google maps and Callimoto.

Many thanks for the feedback Andrew. I will have to check that out. I did not know that setting the rider modes also change the suspensions ride comfort. That would be awesome if it does it. What mud fling did you go for? Do you have a link. Also for the mount above the locks what model did you go for? I am looking at this handle bar bag with phone screen. I had one years ago and worked really well. www.nippynormans.com/wunderlich/r1200gs-lc-adventure-2014-on/wunderlich-handlebar-bag-xl-media-for-fitments-see-below Keep well and keep riding.

@@Andre-Mostert hey it’s only been 8-9 months since Eagle pre orders… it’s not so bad ;) I’m sure it was nice having much more overhead going from the S18 to the Sherman Did you hear about the upgraded S-18 with those high discharge batteries? Someone said you might be able to replace the battery pack with those to help with torque and battery sag… I’m considering getting that some day but maybe I’ll just be fine with the Eagle which I’m sure I will be
@Andre-Mostert
@Andre-Mostert 2 жыл бұрын
Yes I did go and read about this. Looks like a great upgrade if you can get hold of it. Its one of those things again, good idea but the stock is so limited that we cannot get hold of it. I hope this gets better and we can start seeing more of the wheels out there. Not happy about all the cut offs for the V12 HS and HT. This is a big problem for inmotion.
@thefoss721
@thefoss721 2 жыл бұрын
@@Andre-Mostert mmmm good point And cut offs for the new HS / HT? I haven’t been keeping up on those wheels, that’s a massive issue if it happens frequently, I really hope the Eagle doesn’t do that with the new firmware that’s been changed last minute but that’s what full body gear is for , if your not ready to take a fall at 40+mph you probably shouldn’t be going that fast lol I hope inmotion figured that out especially before the V13 comes out

A couple of tips. I have the same helmet fogging issue. Try something like Muc-Offf Anti Mist. Tyres. As you say the tyres are quite good, however once you start pressing on you’ll find the Tourance front tramlines terribly. The solution changing as a pair is to choose the standard 150/70 rear size but go with a 110/80 Radial front compared to the OEM 100/90 bias (cross ply). This solves the tramlining and also gives more precise and comfortable handling. Both those front sizes with those different aspect ratios are considered optimum for the 2.5 rim size, so the 110/80 isn’t an oversize. My choice of tyres is a pair of Dunlop Mutants. They still have some off-road ability and are an all season tyre, excellent in the wet due to the high sea ratio, silica content. Also as these are a crossover tyre they have very good dry roads handling, but obviously not as good as a pure roads sport tyre. Anyhow, glad you are enjoying the bike. For me it’s the most complete motorcycle I’ve ever owned out of the 53 motorcycles I’ve had over the last 53 years. Interesting you had a Zero.
@Andre-Mostert
@Andre-Mostert Жыл бұрын
Awesome and thank you for the feedback about the tyres. I will check out the tyres you recommend. You are so right about the bike and how complete it is. I was a BMW guy for a long time and still love the GS range but the 850 is just not the same as this Tiger. The sound, ride and comfort/performance that the bike gives is just very hard to beat. The Zero was an interesting bike and I was hoping that its going to work for me but it turned out that it did not for my use. They need to sort out a few things before I will go back.

@@Andre-Mostert I haven’t tried a Zero, but did try the electric KTM Freeride around an indoor MX track. It was great and I reckon I was quicker on it than a 125 stroker as no foot gear or rear brake lever, nor clutch to worry about. Electric road bikes have an issue with range, particularly in winter and when ridden hard. Fast charging in rural locations an issue. Capital cost is currently too much and the energy density by volume and weight of the battery needs to improve. Power and torque not an issue. Long term running costs if high mileage is good, but CO2/materials amortisation takes many years and needs to be quite high annual mileage to achieve it. Meantime… As for the GT Pro. February issue of RIDE Magazine, quote: “I can’t help but be impressed by how well - rounded the Tiger 900 GT Pro is. Few machines are as attuned to the requirements of UK roads. It isn’t just the best road-based middleweight adventure machine; it could well be Britain’s best road bike, full-stop.”
@Andre-Mostert

that is a really spot on quote. Yes the problem at the moment and as you say that EV bikes has way too high price and then most of the ones you still have to buy the optional rapid charger ontop of the high price. The only brand that has a good solid package at this time is the @energica bikes. High price but they have all the bits you need to just get on an go.
