Tiger King Season 2: when and where will Joe Exotic & Carole Baskin reappear on Netflix & elsewhere?

Tiger King was a cultural phenomenon that took the world by storm in March 2020, just as most of us went into pandemic lockdowns and quarantine. Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem & Madness was a wild ride, and a year later, we're still waiting for Netflix to announce the release date for a second season. But in the meantime, there are plenty of Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin projects to tide you over: reality shows, documentaries, and even some TV shows starring Kate McKinnon and Nicolas Cage!
Louis Theroux is producing a documentary for the BBC titled The Cult of Joe Exotic, which will interview members of Team Tiger, who are trying to get Joe Exotic out of prison
Discovery is developing a series called Investigating the Strange World of Joe Exotic which will look into the disappearance of Carole Baskin's husband.
Carole Baskin is producing a reality series exposing animal abuse.
NBC Universal is planning a series titled Joe Exotic starring Kate McKinnon as Carole Baskin based on Wondery's Joe Exotic podcast.
CBS & Amazon are producing an 8 episode scripted series which will center on Schreibvogel (Nicolas Cage), an eccentric, exotic zookeeper in Oklahoma who fights to keep his park - even at the risk of losing his sanity. The series will live in the lion's den with Joe, explore how he became Joe Exotic, and how he lost himself to a character of his own creation.
Dan Lagana (American Vandal) will serve as showrunner and executive produce with Brian Grazer (Empire) and Samie Kim Falvey for Imagine; Paul Young (Key & Peele) for Make Good Content; Cage via his Saturn Films; and Scott Brown and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly.
Joe Exotic is currently serving a 22 year sentence in Fort Worth, Texas and plans to release a book, Tiger King: the Official Tell-All Memoir on November 9, 2021.
