I found this video randomly while I was scrolling KZbin in 2019. Then I decided to plan a trip to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge. I went here in Sept 2019 with my friend. Thank you for sharing this video with useful information. I was able to completed the trip because of this video. That was my memorable trip to TLG. The view was phenomenal. I was so happy we made did to TLG. I slept at Naxi Guesthouse too. Comfy places with nice foods. Maybe in future, I am gonna organise a group trip there.

Thanks for posting, I like your edits, commentary, information of the route and your spirit in this video..and so glad your safe after seeing the 'Bus Incident'... hope your recovery was complete. I wonder if the woman vendor near the top of 28 Bends uses a different route than you took? Any difficulty with room availability at the 2 Guest Houses you stayed in? We visit there next month. I would suggest to check the availability in advance especially if you are traveling with a big group and during high season. :)

Xi Ling Hi Xi Ling. Most shots were done handheld using an iphone. We used a gorilla pod for go pro but mostly for timelapses.

Tham Ying Ling thank you :) we didnt do any reservation beforehand. I guess this will depend on what season/time you go there. Make a reservation if you wanna be sure

cool video! may go visit early April (national holiday). Given that there seems to be only one guesthouse option per stop, I think i better book. Would ctrip have those guesthouses? Also what period did you visit in? I'm trying to understand what the temperature is like up there.

Hi, not sure if ctrip have guesthouses coz we didnt book online. There are few guesthouses per stop 1-3 at least. We went on Nov 2017 😁

pui cheng Lum Hi Pui. Yes we went there without guide. I dont think guide was necessary as the trail is pretty easy to follow and you can ask people in guesthouses too. You can download this video as your guide too :) Enjoy your trek.

Hi Junwen, hike was easy. Mostly flat pathways and plenty of guesthouses in between hikes. you can even take a car. Lol

@@ianandmar Are there any narrow paths or places where you might be in danger of falling down such as the waterfall? Or is it all easier than it looks? I was planning to do this hike last year during summer when in Lijiang but the place was closed due to a landslide. This year I'm planning on going there with my girlfriend who is a bit of a chicken if I can say that so I'd love to know what we are in for :D

@@camels3269 there are narrow paths but nothing extreme to the point of falling down. You just have to be cautious when walking especially for steep pathways, waterfall area to avoid slipping. This climb isn't that hard, you should be fine :) It was my wife's first hike in this kind of terrain and she managed to finish it. Just look out for each other and take it easy. Enjoy the hike! Mahdi Zainal ohhh that one was free if you buy tickets or stay at tina’s. But that one you can walk to the entrance. There are 2 entrances. But yeah, if you are at tina’s just take the free shuttle to the entrance, then hike down to the gorge.
