I love Josh’s Frogs, they sell the best feeders. I got a cup of hornworms for my Leo and Pac-Man, would highly suggest them. Edit: Look at that derpy boy. I love him

My dream pet. But they (barred tiger salamander) are illegal where I live (Australia). Did have an axolotl when I was younger but I think a terrestrial salamander is much easier to care for, substrate, hiding places, water dish. 7:14 happy, muddy. A fantastic looking amphibian with it's yellow and black skin markings.

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 salamanders... I want to add a diff animal...maybe a tree frog or a pacman frog.. I know it's not suggested to house different species together but if I did wat would u reccomend?

How do you feed Ponyo when he is burrowed? I have a timid tiger salamander and i cant feed him... I just put a couple crickets in the enclosure for him to hunt

marco chu Ponyo literally never burrows. He’s always just out waiting for food. 😅 maybe just release some insects overnight and he’ll come out to hunt then on his own

I made a really awesome looking aquarium/ terrarium set up with great stuff & i made a thick layer of aquarium safe silicone but the toxins from great stuff leached through. i could not keep any critters alive in that tank... especially the fish and animals that lived in the water portion. it became a plant display for a few years & then i scraped everything out & just made an aquarium for fish. Hopefully that great stuff does not effect your salamander... It is toxic

Do you have any advice or tips on keeping a baby pacman frog alive to adulthood? I just bought my first ever pacman frog from Joshs Frogs at an expo in mid January. Last week it died :( Got my 2nd one from Petsmart last weekend. I'm feeding him dubia's from tongs but he's either not interested or keeps missing the tongs! You're the only YTer I trust PLEASE HALP.
