This is just what others' "say", there is no actual evidence to back this up. Keep in mind people can "say" anything, it's much harder to actually produce the evidence to back up what they "say". I can "say" I am the Pope but it means absolutely nothing unless I can back it up with evidence that I am actually the Pope.

@@lisaharrigan1370 It has been confirmed a long time ago that all of the documents in question were forged. At least two years ago now. There's two experts in fact that deemed it 100% a forgery, confirmed by the county sheriff at the time. And there is only one person that benefited from it. So yeah, they really do need to pull all of that.

This was always my biggest question. It’s not difficult to understand why the prosecution didn’t call him as a witness, but I find it curious that the defense didn’t put him on the stand. His story has always been consistent and he’s a very credible witness. He comes off as a very honest person and he doesn’t have a dog in this fight.

@@skylerhaight4892 Both of those are going to be pretty tough. The Lead Detective on the case of Don Lewis' disappearance, John Marsicano, has said "There is absolutely no physical evidence, at this point in time, that would point at one particular individual", pretty hard to convict someone of murder that way. Especially seeing there is no body to even prove he was murdered. Getting a new trial for Joe would be a miracle in itself, let alone overturning all the counts he has been convicted of, like a snowballs chance in hell. Joe's best hope is to get his sentence reduced by a new trial but I am sure he will still be facing a lot of years, I highly doubt he is going to go from 21 yrs to Zero.

@@eldelapalma1338 He would have a better chance of winning the Lottery. Especially seeing they have Joe, On Tape, saying, "‘The first guy that I hired to kill her ran away with my $3,000. Now we’re going to try this again.’” That ONE piece of evidence is all that is needed for a conviction on the 2 murder for hire counts. Getting around his OWN words, in his OWN voice would be nearly impossible, it removes all reasonable doubt. Even if the "hitman" had no intention of following through with the murder, Joe's intentions were clear, that he had paid someone to kill Carole Baskin.
