Animals, unlike people, don't hold grudges. These are God's gorgeous creatures that must be protected. So happy Aria got a second chance at having a good quality of life and the love and compassion she deserves. She's one of the lucky ones, but hopefully we are progressing towards a future where animal abuse is eradicated. I believe we can get there through educational methods and legislation. I send the emails to my Senators and Governor's office demanding we support Big Cat Safety Act in Ga. All of you at BCR are saints, protectors of the most vulnerable among us.

I almost cried. I agree with Afton, it is terrible to think that other big cats dont have a chance to have a better life, they just live in misery and dispair with no hope in life. It's just terrible, but it was amazing that to save the life for one cat, is more than you could ever think to the cat than you think. I am so grateful that Big Cat Rescue is a thing, yes there are other sanctuaries, but this one here, it's just seems better than most because people are giving up money that they need to use to survive and giving it to the big cats. I am also grateful for the sanctuary because to think, Carole Baskin could have done anything with her money, anything! But she chose to make a sanctuary to help cats in need. Most of these people give up their lives to save the lives of innocent animals in trouble. It's just so amazing. Aria wasn't treated right, but if others treat her better than she was treated in the past, she will have hope and not become depressed in life.
