the most sublime display of iron play we will ever see

The Scottish/British (not sure) commentator’s commentary on Tiger is incredible. To me, Tiger is without question the best golfer to ever hold a club. Give him an iron throne.

When the announcer introduced Tiger his voice went up an octave! I guess he grabbed his balls - golf balls that is. LOL!

The picture might be terrible, but at least the sound is off by 2 seconds, VHS technology was insane back in 2007

From the last scene, Tiger's caddie is more than the name. Looks like a very close friend.

A close friend that betrayed him. Not only that but publicly talked shit about him. Fuck Steve Williams. Joe LaCava is the definition of loyalty

Steve Williams is a piece of shit

@@xetol Tiger put a lot of trust in Steve until he realised he was fake. Tiger is better keeping the caddy as an employee rather than friend/brother relationship.

This was the very first professional golf event I attended, as a 10 year old, half my life ago lol! Couldn't believe how well they strike the ball and how far they hit it

TheFieldman there ball striking is next level. And incredibly consistent

Bionicrecovery Up until that point, the best player I had seen was my dad who was a 13 handicapper. So to see John Daly tee it up and belt one way over 300 yards was just pure awesome

Bionicrecovery I always remember him having a good laugh with the crowds too. After he hit it my Dad said to me "He nearly hits it as far as you Jim", and John turned round, looked at me and smiled!

TheFieldman awesome memories right there. A very down to earth guy

Between Tiger and Padraig, Sergio really missed out on a lot of majors.

Gotta feel for DiMarco, he'd have won 2 majors in 2006 if he wasnt playing against a god.

A lot of similarities between these conditions and carnoustie if tiger can hole some putts look for him on the leaderboards he will take advantage of not having to hit drivers in these dried out conditions
