What amazes the most is Tiger Woods's unreal mental strength. He won a U.S. Open on a broken leg, overcame a sensational tabloid scandal and won multiple tournaments, overcame multiple back surgeries and a fused spine to win a Masters at age 43, and overcame a horrific car accident that nearly cost him his leg and he came back within a year and made two cuts at the majors. WOW!

Tiger is amazing. He's still dealing with his leg injury and given the fact that he hasn't been able to play golf full-time like others his game is amazing. He had so many first puts that were within six inches of going into the hole. If he gets his putting dialed in he be playing at six to 10 under per round. Where he got into trouble was the three or four times he nuked his shot and went long coming into a green. That's just a case of get his distance dialed in. When he becomes a little more consistent on length coming into a green the other players better watch out. The Tiger of old may resurface to everyone's amazement. What a player.

Got to watch Tiger in person yesterday and that probably will be the last time I'll get a chance here in my home state of Oklahoma for his career. He truly is a living legend and the galleries following him bring an energy that you can't explain unless you're there in person. He's clearly in some pain with that right leg and he can't even bend down far enough to read putts properly but he grinded it out to make the cut by a shot. 16 and 18 are two of the hardest holes in the country at Southern Hills and he went birdie, par. Unreal.

It is such a pleasure and is so satisfying watching this guy back at it again. This dude is a champion! But at the same time, I am not afraid to temper the above statement with what Tiger himself tweeted about the ordeal with his leg: "It's just golf. If I don't do that, I'll be ok." Everyone could see his struggling with pain in that leg. He is not afraid to admit that no matter how he used his weight, off it, on it, at some point the pain wouldn't quit. The old Tiger- meet the new Tiger. When I hear the new Tiger say something like his above statement, I believe he is in full acceptance of his limitations. My wife is. He is the ONLY reason she watches golf. But when I told her what John Daley said last December, she remarked: "Let's enjoy it while it lasts, but he won't last that long". . John Daley said he was convinced that Tiger would catch up and pass Jack Nicolaus' 18 major championships record. Tiger now has 15. Everyone is gunning for Tiger to do it. To hang in there as long as he can. No wonder, He is so good for this sport! At this point as I see it, the only record Tiger is in the hunt for now is to see if he can break thru those 2 brick walls. One wall is his leg- or what's left of it. The other wall is time. For Tiger, the clock is ticking. If he is able to prove both of us doubters wrong, it won't be this year. No one is bigger than the sport. However, for me and the Mrs, if he were to fold and hang up his clubs after this event, we will still be greatly satisfied because we were along for the ride each and every step of the way since the beginning back in 1997. No regrets!

So that Nicklaus couldn't hit WIDE SHOTS on the left side of the fairway to avoid trouble on the right. It meant he had to hit the ball ACCURATELY instead of just blasting away. Wow! Talk about REAL complete BS! Meanwhile specifically because of Woods, FIVE HUNDRED YARDS WAS ADDED TO THE LENGTH OF THE MASTERS, and not just one lousy bunker! And I said COURSES were changed. Impressive what he is doing! And as a person w/mobility issues from medical problems, my hope is the PGA finds a way so he doesn't have to walk to each hole. It is a shame that so many are limited in what they can do, and how much pain they needlessly suffer, because need for mobility devices are dismissed. Tiger should shine a light on this for all of us, so we can ALL do more!!! Let him PLAY GOLF...it's not about walking between holes!
