This team has the longest mlb playoff drought I don’t want to hear that “we aren’t ready yet” seems like everyone else has been ready

We are in the middle of the longest championship drought in franchise history. That’s what’s the most important thing here and we’re not even close to one now. This is all on Chris I who refuses to spend money on better talent.

Mike would actually go out there and spend what ever it takes to win, Chris clearly doesnt care and should seriously consider selling

This is why I protest the team by rooting for a team that spends money and cares about winning. I root for the Yankees for a long time now because there is no excuse. I like baseball too much to watch the tigers being ran like a business and trying to save money. There is no salary cap. There's no excuses. Why the hell would I care about if the tigers win or lose if the tigers front office doesn't.

Detroit hasn't been a baseball town since the days of Sparky, Tramm, Whitaker, Gibson and " The Brow."

Can’t just be Scott Harris. They need to be able to spend money. I knew they needed bats before the season

We don't know if he ain't allowed to spend😊

He spent $28 million on Keith before he ever set foot on a big league field. They have money

Avila got off Scott free for a long time! The fans have a high threshold for patience as well, which doesn’t always help. Look how long it took for the Lions to fire Matt Millen!!! GET HITTER, SCORE RUNS! Mike always hits it right on the head. The team doesn’t have to spend a crazy amount of money to be competitive. Nothing justifies the product we’ve seen so far.

Scott Harris couldn't even manage the trade deadline. He's a guy learning on the job and he better start showing something.

I think that the problem with management/ownership is that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, in the division is willing to spend any money whatsoever to win anything other than the division. There are no Yankees, no Mets, not Dodgers, no Giants..nobody in the central division. All ya got to do is win the division and ya get at least one seat in the playoffs. Nobody in the division is willing to take the division, dominate it and take on the others, including the Tigers. What is Tampa without the Yankess and Boston? Baltimore is a thing now only because of it. San Diego and Arizona are interesting because of the Dodgers are pushing them. Texas and past Angels spending is being guided by Houston. NL east is by Atlanta and the Mets. There is just nobody in the Al central and it sickens me as a Tiger fan as I don't see it changing in the foreseeable future.

Most of the Tiger hitters are as useless as Rico on this show. The Tiger part of that sentence is on Scott Harris & Chris Illitch.

The Padres were clearly watching Arraez and thinking about how he would fit in their lineup. Who is Harris thinking about? Are the stat kids watching players on other teams that would inject some life into this team? Harris strikes me as a program builder, somebody who doesn't spend much time looking at talent around the league and thinking how this guy or that guy would fit into the Tiger lineup. Buckle up for another rebuilding year.
