KZbin is amazing. I have this song on an old tape which was a recording from Radio 1 of a live session that Gene did. This is one of my favourite songs of all time and I thought i wasn't going to ever find it agian. So excited.

I was there. Listening to this you wouldn't think anything was wrong with the performance. However, when the band were about to come back in and start playing there was a really loud pop/bang. Probably a loose jack cable. That's why the stagehand runs across. Martin then walks across the stage shaking his head and goes to the drummer and shrugs. He must've thought it was ruined. I wondered at the time how they would be able to fix it for the DVD, but they obviously managed it in post production.
