This is the only thing that bothers me in this story. Last time they disrespected Eyez so much already. One last thing. As someone who’s interested more in hip hop, i’m into krump as well. And I know for a fact that a lot of people in the hip hop community respect krump! Let’s not divide ourselves. Just one subject I want to clarify. The rest I’m not really interested in. Fusion Concept is NOT an event which represents the Hip Hop community. It’s NOT a battle where you will see the best hip hop dancers specially nowadays. Fusion Concept is just a SHOW. An event which will attract NON dancers. They are barely surviving to keep this event interesting. Trying to found way to bring people like this « call out ». As a hip hop dancer, I just don’t want to be associated with this event as representing Hip hop community. The music of this event is not something that I even listen. They are putting these weird battle music. No Slum Village. No Busta. No Griselda. No Wu-Tang. No Alchemist… But also it doesn’t represent the French dance community. As a French dancer, I don’t fuck with this event at all and I know plenty of big names who don’t either. Some go there to watch the show but that’s it. And I'm not impressed by Kefton either. He's not the best or at least I don't consider him as. Most of us would rather participate to events like SDF, Random Circles, WindZone… Events which are truly about the culture and not just making an event on big stage. As you see I'm not even talking about Krump and your rounds because I believe it's not something which I understand for now so there is no point. Hopefully you will read this one @Tighteyex

@@BPrinz776freestyle in hip hop dance or ANY dance is being non choreographed dance. Whether you know the song or not doesn’t make it any less of a freestyle. When freestyling you can know a song by heart but if you’re truly freestyling you won’t dance it the same twice because the moment and dance you do are executed on the spot, by improvising and even if you know the beat you still have to improvise your movement to match it to begin with. So even if you know the song, that does not make it not freestyle. That’s like claiming someone in a battle is not freestyling just because they got a song they know during that battle even though they did not choose it. You’re either not a dancer or a freestyler or you have no understanding of what actually being a freestyler is, your definition of what “freestyle” is doesn’t take away from what it actually objectively is.

For people who may not understand why old krump music isn't suitable: It is like expecting a hip hop dancer to dance to 70s-80s rap. Old krump was experimental, it was in the earliest discovery phase. It has evolved into a far more LIVE experience with a bigger emphasis on feeding off of the moment and storytelling what is happening with that energy rather than WASTING the energy on moves/actions people cannot appreciate.

@@Solus95 Because nobody "agreed" to let dancers choose their own tracks, Eyez is just making up excuses for why he lost. The krump tracks were all great. The 5 on it tracked was danced by every krumper on every event for 4 years plus. Wtf iz dat was made by morfmuzik about two years ago, by now he should know the song. Ttbz anthem is a classic song, if you can't dance to that, you're no krumper. I didn't think it would be possible for a good excuse to exist for what happened at FConcept but here it is. 1. Tight Eyex came with his own tracks, something agreed to beforehand. Now I can understand if Kefton doesn't want that type of smoke (with his pride on the line on this stage) but that is not an excuse to lie to Tight Eyex. 2. DJ randomly changing the songs mid track 3. Adding time without the dancers knowing beforehand 4. Dancing even with time completely gone! 5. Tight Eyex can't choose his tracks but DJ does not cut off music when Kefton is dancing past his time (1) is by far the biggest problem and the dirtiest move. YOU DO NOT CHANGE RULES TO A DUEL! It is clearly a France and/or Hip-hop bias. Krump is spirit/energy based and if you ruin the vibe/frequency and you are doing real freestyle Krump, not just routine, then everything makes sense! First off Tight Eyez you’re the GOAT of krump in my opinion and I’d say the vast majority of the krump world’s opinion. You’ve also proclaimed yourself as the GOAT. You’ve said how small of a percentage of krumpers are tight. You’ve called out many leaders in krump for being wack and/or not being qualified to teach. In reference to the battle, I watched your live years ago where you talked about “confusion concept” (the money issue) and all the bs that can come with competing at an “all-styles or hip hop event. As a main event I agree they could do better with the tracks it’s just nothing new and not a valid excuse for underperforming if you feel you did. You’ve solidified and re-solidified yourself as the face of krump while disqualifying a lot of people. You also talked a lot of shit about how you were gonna dog Kefton. I don’t think Kefton is the best France has to offer either but it wasn’t an ass whooping. So you gotta own up to it no excuses. I’m not a hater or being disrespectful just giving my honest opinion and trying to keep it real.

As to not disregard what the video was about, im taking all you said at face value and I believe it. Krump is doing pretty well in the all-style space in recent times but if it is to continue it’ll be on the krumpers themselves to acclimate there style to whatever the event is as every other style has to do in all styles events. Hopefully, the issue of krump music being played at these events will subside with krump competing consistently. They won’t have a choice but to respect it if the leaders continue to push and advance the culture and its dancers. Krump is most def here.

I always struggle to move krump on different music than krump! It doesn't bring me where it should as Tight Eyex said! My krump name was Graveheart, I remember Fair Play Dance Camp in 2014 when I came just for your workshop in Poland from Bulgaria man. When we were sessioning after the workshop everything fit so well because it was krump! I don't know if you recall the same night we went out on a party in the camp and they were doing a hip hop session there and all of a sudden this happens! Larry from Les Twins started dance infront of you, a battle was forming you started to dance too, then Larry dances again and Will the Beast jumped in too and since I was the only other krumper there I jumped in too. I remember I was strugglin to build my energy and transitions on those beats... Even tho It was a good battle, but it is true the energy is not the same, hip-hop music will never lift you up where krump music will! its sad I couldn't find any footage from that night, but it was a good experience! Keep pushing krump, you always an inspiration man!

Eyez, you're taking it too seriously bro. You are invited to these hip hop battles because you're the best (along with Ruin) at adapting Krump to hip hop. You won this battle. We like seeing you get off at hip hop events. Stay up, stay positive and keep representing God. There are those dancing hip hop to the Glory of God and everybody dancing Krump is not saved or doing it for Christ. Did Yahweh call you to be at war with the enemy, or be at war with hip hop? Respectfully, please don't write this down as all of hip-hop dance culture. This is French hip-hop. They don't follow the same foundations and rules. For crying out loud, Kefton himself lost at Summer Dance Forever for not bouncing. IMost dancers down there are all for show. I promise you other countries would never disrespect you like this.

Thank you for the commentary! It would be very cool if you would make a video about krump music someday. Like, where it started, is it hip hop or not, are there also any "rules"? Who would you recommend to listen? Weirdly, there are almost no tutorials as well, how to make krump music. I am still kinda unsure if it is hip hop beats but with specific vibe to it, or a separate genre as well at this point? Sorry for possible arrogance, im just curious to know more about this style, even though being total outsider.

i don't understand half of these comments about this clear bias. Yes, it seems that this event is completely hip hop favoring, but regardless of the culture bias of Fusion Concept, Tight Eyex should've been able to play his own tracks from the jump. From what he's saying, it was faulty and falling apart as the event was going on- not before. How was he supposed to know they'd switch up on him at the moments of the event? Regardless if it was a exhibition or competition, there should be a meeting point in the two different dancing styles/backgrounds or both competitors should be competing with music that they don't usually dance to. Clear bias from the start. Also, I don't know or watch Kefton, but his rounds did not seem as tight or well choreographed as Tight Eyex. His moves seemed lazy and boring. Mad respect for Tight Eyex for representing LA and Krump, even in a event that doesn't encourage or engage krumping
