The isonychia nymph is my favorite pattern for mid july Tennessee tailwaters.

On the Au Sable, only the spinner resembles that color. The duns are a grey\olive color.

quick question, why not whip finish around the post once the hackle is tied in? you wouldnt even need to return the hook to its normal orientation...hackle, whip, clip
