From my point of view, this is 100% a call on the river. If you are in Tom Dwan's position and analyse how the hand played preflop, on the flop and on the turn, there is only AK, KK, QQ in your opponent's range. On the river he has to pay 786k to win a pot of 3086k. So he only has to be right 25.5% of the time. As I mentioned earlier, his opponent has AK, KK and QQ most of the time. There are 16 combinations of AK, 6 combinations of KK and 6 combinations of QQ possible. So the probability that his opponent has AK is 57.14%. He beats over 57% of the hands his opponent could have and only has to be right 25.5% of the time. And now you have to consider that the opponent is Wesley, who is an action player. Wesley could also overplay hands like JJ, 10 10 and 99. So Tom Dwan would have called even if Doulg had not told the table that he had seen Wesley's hand.

It IS possible to be a VERY GOOD PLAYER and a pro, while simultaneously once in your life punting your stack off to Tom dwan. Doug came in this game wanting to bring the action. He probably figured most people would be uncomfortable playing a million dollar buy in and he was really gonna put people to the test. People for some reason have a tendency to bluff Tom dwan. Maybe for the show or cuz they want to run a big bluff against the guy who used to bluff everyone in huge pots back in the day. Wtv the reason may be. And he just happened to chose the wrong spot to do it. I don’t blame him at all. But once again dwan happened to be on the right side of it.
