We do not do any "lawn care" or "gardening". The downside is we do not have that recurring monthly revenue, but we also don't have to put dedicated employees to do monthly site visits. We have moved exclusively to a project construction model and try to work 6 to 7 figure residential projects. Our niche has a lot of competition as there are multiple companies with talent working these projects. The metro area population is probably about 300K, but the niche is around 10,000 minus households. If you want to do large projects, to plant trees the size of the National Christmas Tree, you will need to build your brand and perform. If you want to crane in big trees, find the crane company that does it regularly, that knows how to rig, and then have your crew and yourself go to school on it. The tree delivery drivers from the tree nursery usually know more about how the trees are rigged that the crane operator does. I started doing large projects because one day I laid out a driveway tree planting at 15G plants 20 feet on center and a week or two later laid out a driveway with 100 year old olives at 20 feet on center. Both projects took the same amount of layout time. My profit margin percentage was higher on the 15G trees, but my net profit on the 100 year old olives was mid 5 figures even at a lower percentage. Also be innovative and sometimes stretch the budget to learn something new. We recently had a job where we used a crane to lift an spider crane back by the pool and then fed trees over the house to the spider crane. I took in a little less money to have my men gain a little more experience with something new

Great video! I learned a lot. I recently started a similar “one stop shop” for property maintenance, repairs, & improvements/renovations. I thought I was insane having all these services. But this video gave me confidence that this business strategy works!

He's not as big or successful as he portrays himself. He has taken the widely used playbook of using social media/youtube to make him look that successful. At this point he probably makes most his money from his courses and events.

Tigran great video and great guest. Feedback you were a little awkward it’s okay to look at who you’re speaking with instead of focusing on the technology (camera, computer) also the sound levels have to be higher.

Let me give you some of my modest experience with landscape, in less than 2 years I made 250 design project, so I have a decent first hand experience with allot of the landscape stages, the most important stage of landscape business is the design spect anyone can do a landscape design on the spot, but our brain no matter what is limited when it come to visualize ideas inside our brain we can have a rough idea but the little details is what we will miss, Computer landscape designs give us the complete visual of our ideas it even help us with the client to see what we have in our plate for him, and it is easy to adjust something before we start, and it will make the work goes faster because everything will be accurately planned the contractors they will not have to think allot about what and how to do what they wants to do if that make sense And let’s not forget about the materials and colors we will have the power to push out the most pleasurable materials and colors that match the theme and the surrounding So guys don’t get cheap with the design, and pick the right designer who is well knowledgeable
