Having met Adam Twice, I can say he was a genuinely nice guy and gave me some helpful pointers in ym career as a DJ, he always had some gems of info or advice and wasn't too busy to offer some advice or listen to opinions. A true inspiration and not afraid to be different. RIP.

It's RCHP's 'Around the World' mixed with Daft Punk's 'Around the World'. DJ AM might night be the best dj, but he is a master at mash-ups, and anyone who has an eclectic taste in music could enjoy his craft.

@xcaligulax13 жыл бұрын
normal "djs" are mixing their whole set in a 128-130bpm range. thats not that difficult. but am had the skills to mix different genres with different bpm ranges. that made him unique. RIP AM.

It amazes me how people can be such haters! DJ AM, while to some might not have been the BEST DJ, was very good at what he did. Some would argue that he just spun other people's music, but what he really did was bring different musical worlds together! To successfully mix Classic Rock & House is just bringing more awareness and paying tribute to some of the great music of our time. Scratching, beat matching, & spinning is an art that should be more widely respected. R.I.P AM!

master? No. Ztrip & DjP are masters of the mash up. Hands down. They inspired other dj's to do what "they" were doing. Pick up uneasy listening vol.1 probably released when AM was in 7th grade.

ccccI'm looking for a song by DJ AM or Adam Goldstein or featuring him. This song was from the radio in the early 2000s and I recorded it on a cassette tape in high school in 2003-2004 from a station in the DFW area of Texas. It has a male voiceover which I don't think was his. I can't think of the lyrics because they're so hazy but the man's voice is pretty talk-y (not sing-y if that makes sense? but it was in a rhythm not straight talking) I do not believe it to be part of Crazy Town or Travis Barker collab. This was early in his career I would assume. I wish I could remember more lyrics. I can recognize most of the major songs he has remixed and it isn't a song I recognize at all (like Billy Jean by Michael Jackson). The only words I can vaguely remember was "when the sound of the" and possibly repeating the word "people". There are no "scratching" record sounds in this song also. I have not thought about this song in probably 15+ years and it randomly popped into my head yesterday and hopefully someone can help me with this random need to hear this song again.

Why are there so many haters towards DJ's? You people really have a warped idea of a DJ's scope. Read up, chill out, enjoy the technicality behind it, the great mind that enables him to do such great mixes. If you still don't like it, dont watch this video. DJ's learn something from their job and that is they can't please everyone. Dont like it, dont watch. Fking simple.

People confuse what DJs and Producers are... DJs play music and producers create music... The EDM scene in which all the big names produce their own stuff and play it out, is confusing ppl who don't know what they're talking about.
