Every time I am at my absolute lowest point, feeling hopeless and disappointed and washed up, either this song comes on the radio at just the right moment, or I stumble across it. It always makes me feel like trying again. I'm not surprised that anyone who could write a song like this would eventually turn his back on the grind of the music industry, and I hope today he still believes his own song.

Joan-Carrol Baron ... Yes, Joan-Carrol, and maybe also a real sign of a true prophet is whenever something hits multi nerves in mega peoples, especially at the end of an age, eon, millennium; and the herald, avatar, hero, like Greg appears to have done, and suddenly drops away, it can only make you think and wonder.

@Br Olsos I think it’s mainly because he’s got a unique and different voice. I agree he doesn’t have a huge range or broad technique but it’s more about his voice matching the song style and lyrics. He’s also got a voice that is very fun to listen to. If you had a singer like sting or something, it would totally change the timbre of the song and stuff like that. IMO

LOVE, LOVE LOVE learning about connections like this! Huge fan of Santana, and his version of that song with Michelle! And as a Huge fan of Hall & Oates and Todd Rundgren, was stunned to learn about "Someday We'll Know", which I had never heard before now!!!! So cool to learn about these things!!! As I write this right now, I can't even remember how I came upon this song in this vid, and why I don't remember it from "it's time". But that is one of the blessings of the internet and the utube!!!! Talk about "6 degrees of separation"! ;) And did I say..............what an incredible performance this was on this vid!

Loved this entire cd. I went to a music festival at Atlanta motor speedway in 1997 given by 99x the alternative radio station in Atlanta especially to see them. Got there and they announced New Radicals would not be performing today. I was crushed and disappointed but had a good time anyway. Soon after I heard he (singer) had either gone or had been put in rehab, it was sad to me. Never really heard about them at all anymore after that. I think this was their only cd and don’t know if they just broke up or what happened. That was my understanding back then anyway. I’m not claiming to truly know what actually happened, but I am claiming that I hated that they fizzled out. Great band, I totally agree with prior comments about them nailing this song in this performance. I wore that cd out!
