I've been doing the ECO Styler "hack" for years, wish Ida known it was Tik Tok worthy! 😳 🤣🤣🤣 It has polymers that hold inordinate amounts of water. However, I wil say its overall efficacy is reduced the more water you add, so be mindful. On another note, that poem was 🔥🔥🔥

Loved the cornrow with yarn tik tok. Would be great for you to try that hairstyle out and video 😃
@musicmaniac323 жыл бұрын
I don't do Tik Tok so I would never have known about needle and thread flat twists if not for this video. It seems like it's a centuries old method from Africa. Funny how we find what we need when we look to our roots. I've got some yarn and needles on order already. 😄

LA Toya , I really need to try the banding method... so the best scrunchies would be satin material for Type 4 hair ? I noticed you also do this for length retention, would love to try. Thank You, that blue really is gorgeous on you.🥰👏🙏🏽🌼
@LaToyaEbonyHair3 жыл бұрын
Yes, satin or silk are the best materials to prevent snagging and dryness. ☺️

I love your channel and you are I beautiful! I love that you embrace your natural hair in a shrunken state. I also love my hair in that state and I love to wear it out. But a lot of people always say wearing your hair in protective styles the majority of the time is best and to avoid wearing it out. Do you think I’ll still be able to retain more length wearing my hair out more often? Thank you!
@LaToyaEbonyHair3 жыл бұрын
I can tell you only from my personal experience that’s it’s possible when you do low manipulation hairstyles. I rarely protective style, BUT maybe my hair would be even healthier and longer if I did. 🤷🏾♀️ The best thing to do is try both and see which one you can do easiest on a consistent basis. Consistency counts for a lot.
@daughterofthelordgodalmighty3 жыл бұрын
@@LaToyaEbonyHair Thanks for your input! For the past couple of years I’ve been protective styling, and I do low manipulation styles once in a while. But I’m really content with my length and I want to enjoy my hair no matter the length(although I still have longer length goals), I’m thinking I might try protective styling for a week instead of a month, and switch between that and low manipulation styles. I’ll see how that goes!

Sorry u forgot to upload as I said but I'm here and let me tell y'all it did work the texture was lighter than before but I used it on my was&co and it did so great but the only thing is that it didn't work when I did my ponytail it was literally like water but except from that, it was amazing

Try not banding tightly, using scrunchies instead of ponytail holders, and banding larger sections of hair🙏
@bluebutterflywellness22733 жыл бұрын
@@ClaimedQT Thx! idk what's up with my hair...🤷🏾♀️ I do use scrunchies and think last time did 4 sections, but maybe i won't band the entire section and space the scrunchies out more. Let's see...
