Hey everyone! This is a very recent explore which I was not anticipating. I had been keeping an eye on this gorgeous place for years as I knew it was doomed. Driving past there recently, I noticed the occupants had moved out in preparation for its last days before demolition. I wasn’t prepared to explore, but knowing how fast these places are demolished, I knew I had to get in there and document it ASAP, even though I only had my cell phone to record with. I didn’t know when I’d be back here again, and it was just a matter of days at this point. Next time I was in the area, it was a pile of rubble, so I’m glad I got in there just in time. It also has quite the history, so please check the description for more details on that. Thanks for watching! ❤️If you are subscribed, please make sure you hit that bell to be notified of new releases. 🛎

I'm so glad you're back! I love your videos. You take your time and really explore, unlike others I've seen. They were all men, btw. Sorry guys, but women like to see the details of these places, like the woodwork and light fixtures, old staircases, etc. Anyway, I hope you will still continue exploring! 🙂

Wow, another great explore, thank you for sharing! I just realized this manor house was only 43 years young when last owner “Dinnie” was born. The original builder was probably still alive at that time, crazy to imagine. That home was obviously well loved by its last owner, for a very long time. She not only outlived three husbands but also her manor home as well. You know, probably 90% of urban explorers are male. I just want to tell you it’s very refreshing to get a woman’s perspective on these places. That said, I think you, “Farm Hunter” in the US and “Urbex Indigo” in Australia are the top three explorers, period, end of story. You guys keep it real, grown up and take your time so we can enjoy the details. Great job!

SO Wonderful to have you back! This was a Beautiful old house! It's so sad when developers come in and tear these beauties down, only to build cookie cutter houses. There was a HUGE old house in the farm lands near me. I passed it whenever I went to another town. One day I saw that it was For Sale and it was zoned for commercial property. My heart sank when I saw that a developer had purchased the large property. About 6 months later, I realized that this developer was not planning to demolish the building. He renovated it instead and now there's a company in it. I have no idea what the inside looks like, but the outside looks beautiful!

Developers do usually pay a hefty sum for a property they're eyeing, but over the long haul everyone pays the price as green spaces are paved over and trees cut, density increases, traffic increases, crime increases etc.. It wouldn't be bad if it was just a property here or there, but it's a monster with an unending appetite. The only thing that ends it is when density reaches code red, the shoddily built structures decay, it turns into a slum, and no one wants to be there anymore, then on to do it all over again someplace else. I guess it happens over a long enough time that people really don't notice, but future generations will. Money and an ever growing tax base isn't everything, most people need some degree of space to be truly comfortable. In Florida every new housing community has maybe 5 feet of space between the houses that are packed in 100's to a development and they start to fall apart after 10 or 20 years. It's an experiment at this point to see how many suburbanites you can pack in to a space before they go truly bat@^$# nuts. It seems to be happening everywhere. I want a lawn and windows that don't look into someone else's bedroom. Sorry for the rant.

These are just questions that I have being wondering about ever since I have started watching your channel I really like your videos.
@TikiTrex6 жыл бұрын
Hey Bradley, I started exploring over 30 years ago in my early 20s. I guess you could say the curiosity in me is what got me started. If I stumbled across an abandoned structure, I just had check it out. Back then, there wasn't even a name for it, and I didn't even know it was a "thing". Just thought it was some weird thing I was interested in. Glad you enjoy the videos, and thanks for commenting.
