Finally somebody that demonstrates this procedure whose hands aren’t in the way or who knows how to put his camera on a tripod so that when it gets to the important turns he’s not looking at his loading press. Great job, now I know how to do it.

Nice video. I watched a couple of others and was having a problem getting the shroud back on, I had tripped the firing pin. Your video showed I had to move the assembly past the detent to get it re-assembled. Thanks!

Good video. Other videos have bad angles or camera faces opposite way. I made several mistakes as a result. Never turn it without that allen key in there unless the gap is there. You don’t want to find out the spring compressed on you. It will take extreme force to move that collar down to get the allen key back in there. Plus the shroud has am inner circle groove that aligns with the notch in the collar. You dont just slip on the shroud and turn. It has to be aligned on the inside circle rim first.

Can you lightly lube the bolt with lucas gun oil once its been cleaned?

How do you replace the striker spring?

I took apart my bolt assembly and found metal shavings underneath where the bolt shroud sits. Once I put everything back together my bolt is a lot less smooth when cocking and requires a lot more upward force on bolt lever than before. Any tips or suggestions as to what might be wrong?
