Indian apps are not banned in China. Only some American apps are banned in China. For example, Google was pressured by US media and Congressmen not to comply with Chinese Laws that require all social media apps must locate their data-servers within Mainland China. Hence, Google is still operating in Hong Kong because Google's data-servers are installed in HKSAR.

after seeing comment section let me rephrase it sharing data to the third party and storing data like other apps both are different things. when you use app, app always asks you permission for access. i was never interested in tik tok so don't know if it does the same which why i am little bit confused about what she said. but it is true tik tok does face allegations for data sharing and many countries including austrelia, canada, norway,denmrk , taiwan etc partially or wholly banned tiktok on the grounds of social security. so, we are not alone. in fact belgium pm said that-"We can't be naive: TikTok is a Chinese company that currently is mandated to cooperate with Chinese intelligence services." it could also be political reason after all our relation with china is not good. second this is not first time fb shared users data to third party during election which was believed for the manipulation of votes. and he did paid penalties for that since then govt kind of taking it s
