I am here after the capcut/tt ban. I'm devastated over the capcut ban. I've been editing for years and only just started to get the hang of it. It's going to be rough transitioning to a new app but I love editing so I will definitely just have to deal with it.

I’ve been editing on it NONSTOP and it’s the only thing I use when it comes to editing ANYTHING. If there are alternatives, I would NEED them to have the following features available: -Removing the background/Chroma key -Voice recording (with echo effects) -Text (with Animations, Fonts, and Effects) -Keyframing Is there an alternative with all of them? @@NightmareSparrow Its another mostly free editing software. It’s very popular. i’ve spent the last two hours editing one of my new videos on it whilst watching tutorials. It seems like I can work with this and get somewhat similar results. It’s just that my workflow feels super slow now and constantly require me to google and KZbin things for help.

Unfortunately things like Premerie lack effects, text, animation, face swaps etc especially because Adobe want you to sub to After Effects etc. Capcut is much faster learning curve and whips Premiere and Resolve in many many functions. Most people don't need 'industry standard' edit software they need simplicity, speed and effects without plugins to streamline edit creative process. Will be interesting to see what editor takes up the mantle.

As a davinci resolve user, I should say some information was missing in the video like, free version works mostly of 90% range of people and 4k without watermark in the free version, you will lose only few effects, IA Capabilities and multi-gpu using the free version.

Totally agree. It's a bit overkill for social media but it's really easy to use and the free version is incredible value. I've recently deleted CapCut and gone back to DR. The whole interface is cleaner and less clunky,

Yeah it's pretty rough, it will be banned only in the states so the content will remain up and if you use a VPN you can access it. But I would recommend downloading all the videos and upload them to X, Instagram or KZbin and start building on all the platforms - become platform agnostic - this could happen on any of the platforms Thanks for watching and the comment!

Overall the Magic mask is more precise at the moment, mRotoAI is good for quick masks. Magic Mask is only in the Paid version of DaVinci Reslove though. I am a huge fan of Gling, it has all the features of Timebolt plus all the transcriptions and it does a great job at guessing which takes to keep. I have used Gling on every video since I starting using it. And there is a way to use it for free. Both TImebolt and Gling are great - there is also Recut (Mac only) that is a one time purchase as an alternative. Thanks for watching and the question!

I rely on capcut for it's shortcuts, ability to zoom in on all clips at once (select all and then zoom), and it's intuitive features. Do you know an app that is similar that exports in at least 1080p, 24 fps, and has no watermark or time limit? Thank you.

Honestly thinking about just getting a VPN solely in order to keep using Capcut. Obviously, there would be other neat benefits with having a VPN, and they aren't expensive.

@@d.diamond9326 Well I think everything has been reversed. BUT I still think it's great to get a VPN for general data security. How it works is simple. You pay for the service, and you install an app on your devices where you can select which country you'd like to be in. It all works in the background.

the most annoying part of capcut is their interface. ITS SO BAD that more often times, some features disappear for no reason. Put example the LAYER, so lame that you have to select a video just to adjust the layer order. Why can't they just put a separate panel for it so people wouldn't have to select each clip juts to adjust the layer order. OMEGA SMH! Rendering system is also very bad, it eats a lot of memory.

sad to hear about CapCut, coming from Final Cut Pro I was amazed on how easy and fast it is to edit PLUS the built in effect!!! Mind you I've purched upwards of $890 getting various plugins yet when doing a simple "Cradle Effect" none of my plugin nor any available on the market exist. So much so I would try to emulate these effects in After Effect (I know I know we got Motion yet its another learning curve) All in all Capcut is the winner with its DRAG AND DROP plethora of video effects , Captions, etc. Wonder what's gonna happen to all that purchased the Pro Version?

Thanks for the video. On your final choice, I think there is too much of a gap between Rush and the big hitters.I am a hobbyist and have used DaVinci, but now my. iMac can't cope. So I have changed to Filmora as I think Rush is a little basic for me. Oh how I wish I could justify £300 for FCP.

Sir, being a Final Cut Pro user for the past 6 years, after purchasing CapCut for its easy to implement Captions (note: I also purchased Captionator for FCP) I was shocked to see how easy it was to edit my projects. I still use both, but I found myself using CC more and more. For anyone outhere reading this guy's comment, rest assure that coming from someone that loves tech/software his comment has no basis. I only wish FCP,Premier, and Devinci would learn a thing or 2 about CapCut. Especially FCP (which I'm hopeful in the near future)
