I really don't understand why everyone thinks that they are entitled to use software for free. Someone has to write all this code, test it, market it, and provide the cloud hosting for endless terabytes of footage. Why would all this be free and without ads? How much does it cost? Ten dollars a month or something. It's not a lot of money for the main tool of one's creative expression. How much do those who complain about Pro pay monthly for Starbucks, fast food, fancy gadgets, and other unnecessary spending? If your hobby was painting, you'd pay more than that each month on paper, brushes, paints and whatever else you'd need. The artistic medium here is electronic, but the tools still have to be crafted and maintained by someone, and these people also deserve to make a living.

@@VeeStan1a alight motion is really good for editing. its pretty hard at the start but once you get the hang of it its really a lot better than capcut and has so many more features (like ticking numbers, adding elements from a shape library, mask an element instead of masking into a shape like capcut, vector drawings, you can still extract audio from a video and everything that capcut can do) if you dont know how to use keyframes, you have to make sure that the move icon doesnt have a circle in the middle, if it does click it, then you can use the keyframes.

I like to think that it wasn’t just these reasons of how CapCut killed itself. It may be because of more creators switch to apps with more options, since before lots of people were starting editing and didn’t use complicated ones. But now as those same people have gotten way more experience they switch to these complicated apps. But either way the downfall of CapCut was by the community. Here’s a trick I learned: once you’ve finished editing your video, instead of exporting the video due to pro, take a screen recording of the video. That way you can use all the pro features without having to pay

I have now proudly moved to alight motion. All capcut editors out there, it is DEFINETLY worth it to try to learn other apps even tho they might be a struggle to learn at first. Trust me it is soo much nore accessible and ur eyes will open on how much u've missed on! Rip Capcut era 2019 - 2024

As an Capcut User. I understand the situation. I started using Capcut maybe on 2019 or 2020? And after seeing all the pro. It made me upset a little til i used Alight motion mixed with Capcut. It was the best. Like it helped me.❤

CapCut really feel off since they added their “standard” feature which basically makes the app entirely unusable, even for simple edits. Its not just the pro feature it’s the fact that now you can’t use a single effect, colour preset, and ai feature to make an edit. Sadly it’s not just CapCut, a lot of apps are becoming like this, they make it completely unusable for free users which will really change the dynamic of apps in the future.😢

When I realised auto-captions were pro, making my videos became so much harder because I wanted to use my voice in the vids! And auto captions literally saved me hours of just adding in texts, but now I can’t do that since it’s pro now 😭 If anyone out there knows how to use auto captions on another app besides CapCut, let me know!!

Yep. My edits had auto captions, but because of it becoming pro, I had to either have normal text or no text at all.

Hey, CapCut user here and I’m just going to leave this here and pray that the creator of the app never finds it (in fear of them fixing it and implementing a block) But screen record the edits that have pro content used for it. Try and make the edit you screen record big enough for slightly better quality And if the quality is a little off use the adjustments on the edit to your liking A very affective loophole IMO Is it wrong? Probably, but I find it a lot more scummy for an app that originally had a lot of its content being free to being somewhat locked behind a paywall (This is also a copy paste from another comment I left on a channel)

Pretty sure people are probably already doing that, but soon you won’t be able to screen record or take screenshots on mobile. Some apps already block screen recording by turning the screen black. This doesn’t happen on PC, though. The only reason I still have CapCut installed is for some of the pro features and some automated options

This is the reason why CapCut APKs were made, so that the Pro effects were unlocked and accessible for users who got one of these APKs. The part which kinda disappoints me is that i haven't really seen any APKs for PC, and i edit most of my videos there.

Me and my friends went on a video call and completed in a silly competition for how good our editing skills were. And (it was today mind you) I was kinda good at editing, but everything became pro since I was last on. I literally just put on pro and then screen recorded. I remember using it in 2021 and it was so good since nothing required me to pay for anything. And now I got back into editing but I will literally never be able to edit on this app again since EVERYTHING I USE IS PRO. Smooth slow motion, oplique blur, filters, and so many other things. It’s disappointing. It was such a good app for vlogs and other edits
