Suzy Loftus, Head of Trust and Safety for TikTok USDS, spoke at Prairie Patch Farm in Cedar Rapids during a TikTok Sparks Community event. Loftus spoke about safety features in the app for teens and parents and Iowa-based content creators shared their first-hand experiences using the app. During the event, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-Iowa) released a statement about TikTok and its parent company ByteDance. Loftus responded to the statement and concerns about the future of the social media platform in the U.S. (Bailey Cichon/The Gazette)
