Can I just say, thank f*** for your channel. I must have watched a million ‘fine, thin, hair..’ videos and in each, they all have 10 times more hair than I do! Your hair is like my own and you really have worked out how to make it look lovely and much thicker. Finally some videos and products I can trust. Most products people recommend, just do nothing for my extra thin hair. Thanks for doing these vids. I’m so conscious about my hair loss.

Thank you girl! Our hair is very similar. It seems that most hair tutorials are created by women with thick luxurious hair that's already gorgeous without the product or tool. Which is fantastic for them! No sarcasm, just respect ( and a lil bit of envy 😉 ). But... with fine, thin hair, the gorgeous hairstyles found on Pinterest/ KZbin just leave me turning to that bottle of Dry Shampoo, tired arms, and frustration. After years of this same old rigmarole I've stopped trying, but was interested in this product. No Heat, Healthy, Easy, and reminiscent of our grandmother's time. You Rocked it! Your curls are luxurious and will only improve as ya figure out how to place that band. Though, wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to perfectly place it, sleep on our backs like a vampire and buy silk pillow cases to match our comforters?

Just hit the top and bottom few inches with a straight iron- that seemed to fix it from ragged to polished for me-same hair length, thin and does t hold curls. I think I did one manual straight iron beach wave to fix a front piece and it stayed all day through hauling furniture to classroom, sweating profusely , teaching and into a a late evening. Lots of compliments

Hi - just some suggestions that may help. On all of the tutorials that I have seen start hair as damp not wet. And there is a crisscross technique that you can try, pulling and wrapping a section from the front alternating with a section from the back. I have the same fine and thin hair. Good luck.

You're supposed to tie the ends together at the back. It helps the belt out of your way while you sleep, etc. I'd suggest wearing a sleeping cap.

I have the same kind of hair as you and I would try to find a thinner belt. That bathroom belt looks too thick for your hair type. It’s such a struggle with fine thin hair but I’m going to give this a try., maybe spray with my favorite volumizer for thin hair made by John Frieda - it’s very light. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks for the tips! I do think the robe belt was too thick. I'll have to try with something thinner. ❤️
@lucyinthesky46824 жыл бұрын
This is a great idea. I know a bathrobe belt is too thick for my hair but I bet a silk belt from a summer robe would work. I was getting things ready and got to thinking what I could use. A knee sock or a those stretchy cloth headbands that you could cut and make to make it long enough. I'm happy to try your technique though, I tried 4 little buns and it made my hair crazy curly but no curl at the crown. I used a volumizer and a setting spray and nothing. So I'm hoping yours works. I like when when someone who knows what they're doing does it first.

Did you have a mirror at first, doing your right side? Because if you didn't , it looked much prettier when you did your left side in front of the mirror, after wrapping in the robe I mean. I really need the tutorial to show me how to do it.

Such a fun experiment! I also wanted to try the amazon heatless curlers, I actually heard they’re legit! I think there’s a brand that makes the бигуди out of something similar to silk so you can comfortably sleep in them overnight. Might be worth trying!
