You trying dream matte mousse is my favorite thing on this channel. You looked so confused and frightened when you mustered up the courage to say out loud that you like it. As if the make up gastapo was going to sweep in and take all your brushes away if you said it too loud.

So here's the thing that no one ever talks about with the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. They were using their hands to scoup up a ping pong ball sized glob and rubbing it in, THEN setting it with a matte powder foundation using the sponge it came with and mashing and dragging it into the skin.

Lool! I used to use one of those triangle makeup sponges to apply it and then cover my face with shitloads of Rimmel transparent matte pressed powder using a filthy kabuki brush that would leave bristles all over my face. The pressed powder would ALWAYS be completely broken as I would take it to school with me so it was forever being launched around in my school bag. Also at lunch time, I'd apply a new layer of foundation and then a new layer of powder on top of that 🤦🏾‍♀️.

I think applying eye cream over concealer will go terribly wrong for many people. I was surprised she doesn't mention anything about water bases or oil bases and how one can break up another or make it look coagulated. For this to work the formula of both the concealer and the eye cream/moisturiser matters the most.

The Dream Matte Mouse was my holy grail in high school. I had a perfect match. And in high school I didn’t have a single blemish and my skin was always just right in regards to hydration. But I loved this product man. A little went a long way, people may have liked it more if we had beauty blenders back then. I would do small dots and it would spread and blend so well. I honestly didn’t think they even still sold them anymore. But I’m in opinion, if they had more shades and instructions to not get goops of it and throw it on the face, I think this would be a much more popular foundation. The lightness feeling alone is amazing.

Robert, I don't think you look tired. You look gorgeous with great skin, as always. But if you think you look tired, be sure to check in with yourself and consider if you've been putting in more work hours (or even hours doing fun stuff!) than usual. It can be something that you might not notice until you really reflect on it. And if you're feeling exhausted, please know you can always take a few days off! We love you and we aren't going anywhere. I think it's super important for content creators to know they can, and should, take breaks. The very first one with the the concealer technique with the eye cream, I wonder if that would be a great technique for those of us that are of older age who are starting to get the crow's feet and the little creasing under the tear area of our eye to prevent any settling that occurs when we do use concealer there. I want to try this just to find that out because my concealer tends to settle in those areas often so I want to see if adding the eye cream will actually help with that settling at all. Oh I get to do my own test I'm so excited

When it was at its peak and I was in high school, we also weren't really using brushes or sponges, just smearing it on with your hands, which definitely didn't help. Idk about y'all but I also definitely way over powdering too with a too pink powder so a poorly blended, matte foundation, applied over dried out, poorly taken care of skin, covered in chalky setting powder... recipe for disaster!!

When you did the contour tip in both shapes.. insane! I also love the rounded out side as I too have a longer oval face shape.

Needed a Robert video today; feeling a bit under the weather. Definitely going to try the concealer tip. Using elf camo concealer and hate it! I get fine lines within an hour of applying it. Hoping this tip helps.

After many years I’ve been steadily working through All of my old favorites - foundation’s , concealers etc , I will say if there the “ same” as they were previously made I did really like them once again . Dream matte mouse I was ALWAYS OBSESSED WITH lol it IS something you definitely will need to prepare your skin for :)

I do that with my concealer and eye cream otherwise it dries really creasy and dry a few hours later. I’m 40 now and have a collagen condition and my eyes and around are very thin, crepey and dry this technique is beautiful and a game changer (obvs use eye cream as you usually would too) love it.

It's quite amazing to see the difference between ring lights & natural light. I wish more influencers would use natural light. Nooo not the moose! Of course it looks better in a ring light. I have been a CoverGirl+Olay foundation girl for over 10 years. I actually order a new one from Amazon when halfway done just in case the stores don't have my shade.

I still have Dream Matte Mousse, 02-fair. It is light and I still use it from amazon, you just need to be moisturised before applying. I like it.

I remember my high school friend had meybelline dream mousse and damn, she was an orange on her face :D She liked it and wore it every day, but the color was definitely not a match.

Omg the stamp and drag one for wings, I had one of those and I hated the whole drawing in the rest of the wing as it just never looked like a neat sweep, so that makes so much more sense. I kinda wish I didn't get rid of mine now.
