Ohh, I've got a good one for the ex story. So, I was dating this woman who I already had a pretty toxic on and off relationship with her and when I finally managed to break up with her for good, she stood in front of my door with a knife pressed to her throat, screeching at me to take her back or she would kill herself. Later on was told that when I had planned to visit her (LDR) for a few days, she had planned to lock me up in her basement and even prepared stuff like a makeshift bed and a makeshift toilet. A (former) friend of hers sent me pictures. Luckily I never went to her place after all because I had a bad feeling about it

I’ve had one experience with a crazy partner, and it ended pretty badly for me. When I was younger, I dated a girl from Germany, and unbeknownst to me she had some serious underlying issues. To cut a long story short, she fed me tainted food the evening before I was meant to return back home, and once I recovered; threatened me in various ways to stay with her. I told her point blank that I needed to return home because I had a job to get to, and she decided the only course of action was violence. She cut me twice with a large kitchen knife before I managed to defend myself and get the hell outta dodge. I still bear the scars on my arm and leg from it, and they’re a reminder to always, always make sure that you’re not dating a total psychopath.

My mom and I strongly disagree about this. But I have always had the opinion that, man or woman, you have a right to ensure your own safety. I'm not saying it's a free pass to beat the crap out of someone. But like my bio dad taught me, I will teach my kid. You stand your ground and give 3 warnings to back off. I didn't think any of my ex's were crazy until I was married, pregnant and living out of state and he still asked my mom if my daughter looked like him... I hadn't even seen him in almost two years at that point. I think that was when my mom finally walked away from him too (she actually "kept him" when we broke up, like treated him better than me and when I met my husband, she let my ex move into her house, into my old room...) they both crazy.

My ex claimed to have DID (as well as other ex-friends during a course of a few months, which made it quite suspicious). She never got it diagnosed by a professional, she's never even brought it up with her psychologist. I tried to be supportive about it and help her as much as I could but it turned out to be very mentally draining - after a few months it left me suicidal. To give you a picture: her alters blamed me for everything, her alters abused me verbally, she was never around when I needed her, but she always had time to be with her DID crew. Together they gaslit me and made me feel guilty about crap that wasn't even my fault. In the end, she cheated on me with one of her DID friends (who was also my friend at the time) right before my eyes when we went out together, because their alters were dating. Note that not single one of them was diagnosed and I don't mean to fakeclaim, but every single one of their actions screamed "fake disorder tiktok". I believed all of them to be legit for MONTHS, hence why I took all their shit and just wanted to end it once it all became too much. She apologized for the sake of apologizing once we broke up for hurting me but not for the crap they all dragged me through. That wa the worst time of my life so far.

Don't worry I'll fake claim for you. This trend of faking DID has gotten super popular in the last few years You can tell they're fake extremely easily, because they don't follow DID at all. For example, *every* one of their alters always all like using the same social media like discord, use the same servers, if they're furries they're all furries, but they'll have different ways of typing but use the exact same verbiage, they'll all have the exact same opinions on everything, and they're also all present at all times including the main personality as if they're consciously taking turns and all watching like it's a TV (basically, not disassociating at all which is the first letter in DID.) They'll all pretty much have the exact same opinions about politics and people. And, they tend to swap constantly. On discord servers I see people swapping between them almost every sentence. And most of all, they weaponize it. And that whole crew thing? They try to pass off multiple different personalities as liking each other and every other alternate personality. Two of these "alters" are even dating according to your claim. So yeah, you might not want to fake claim, but I'll happily do it for you.

Hey hey, I'm actually a part of a diagnosed DID system Yeah, the trend of people faking this disorder is completely disgusting. It stems from repetitive/severe childhood trauma and is the brains trump card to to protect the kid This disorder is very very complicated, I have recently been diagnosed in October 2021, and I started communicating with the others maybe December/January 2021/2022 Yes, it is possible for alters to know each other, build relationships, and even date, some are family, etc. It is very unique, and different for each system There is a certain part we struggle with the most, and it's being in a state called "blurred" (I think?) Well, it's like mixing up everyone and not being able to tell who is actually fronting, it all feels mixed, and it's been stuck like this for a long time, because of constant stress, anxiety, and even though it doesn't sound like I thing, I emotionally traumatize myself everyday and have been for a long time, and I don't remember most of anything even though I'm the host, because it is too emotionally damaging and so others have the memories, or hold certain symptoms, emotions, etc for me/others who cannot handle it Normally, there are certain triggers that get the others to come out, like star, she's a little nonhuman alter, she is 7, she shows more strong signs of autism, she loves unicorns, talks in a higher pitch, she is just easy to pick up on if someone actually knows her Pheonix however, she is like my personal protector, not sure if she's a co host, but she's normally always out for me, always takes control if I situation is too difficult for me or one of the littles If you have any questions, we would love to answer, yet we are still relatively "new" to this, and don't understand it Also I'm very sorry you had to endure that, thats so horrible

My ex drove me to the point of questioning my own sanity while we were together. Toward the end he would say weird stuff on the phone like "I'm going to the Christmas party and you can't stop me" while we were talking about the cats on the phone. It always confused me and I didn't realize that he was doing it on purpose to make me seem controlling and unstable to his friends that liked me. He would drive me to the point of hunting him down when I needed actual help with something. Constantly saying he'd be at my house in 5 minutes and lying about where he actually was. When I confronted him about my friend seeing him at the mall with someone else he literally asked "are you gonna believe your boyfriend or a guy who wants to fuck you?" Eventually he broke up with me and told me he was gonna stay with me till after Christmas, so he could at least get his present. About 2 weeks later I met my now husband. During the time I was dating my now husband my ex would show up at my work, sit outside for extended periods of time, or just drive by a few times. Never spoke to me in that time. Just did creepy shit. It went on for several months before I quit and got a job elsewhere. The next time I saw him was last year. It'd been almost 9 yrs since I'd seen him and seeing him in a reflection of the ice cream cooler door just standing behind me at the commissary was weird and honestly should have scared me, but just made me angry. My dad came over and told him off, so I wouldn't have to. Like after all this time he's still willing to do this creepy shit. He looked pretty bad off too. I found out from friends that he'd pretty much lied our entire relationship. He wasn't retired he was dishonorably discharged, he didn't quit Walmart he was fired for stealing, he didn't get tired of working at the pizza store he was fired for stealing, etc. When I found out he worked at UPS I legit had a fear he'd eventually have to deliver something to me at home or at work and I DID NOT want him knowing where I live or work now. Called his work and told them his prior history and even gave them the phone number of the pizza shop owners to confirm with and through a mutual friend found out he was eventually fired. Do I feel bad for probably getting him fired? Sure. Do I feel safer? Absolutely. Would I have let it go if it wasn't for his creepy shit last year? Yup.

I don't know if this is psyco, but it was more like anger issues. I broke up with my boyfriend, lets call him Conrad. Conrad made a joke objectifying adopted children, and being adopted, I took personal offense. I had other reasons for breaking up with him, and had reason to believe he was cheating on me. He was apologetic at first, but later got angry at me because he saw the whole thing as my fault. He eventually started to try and aggravate me, including calling me "cute" when I would glare at him, and trying to hold my hand / hug me. (I do have some touch sensitivity issues) It eventually got to a breaking point, and I asked a friend to talk to him. Apparently he had a plan to make me lash out at him, then kick sweep me in "self defense". I was shooketh to say the least, and I was scared to go places without my friends. Eventually he backed down, but it was a huge scare for me. Evetually some of the people in my grade found out and started to keep an eye out for me, and I got some sympathy from a classmate who was going through a similarly harsh breakup. Moral of the story? Feel free to rely on your friends and keep yourself safe.

I dated someone for two years when I was 18 and he was 22, he was mentally abusive at first then after a year and a half became physically violent with me, he harmed the two cats we had and threw them in the river close to his apartment (don't worry the cats were alive and sent off to live with someone else), he stalked me multiple times, got me arrested, hung around minors constantly. He still is after seven years of being broken up will continue to message me on FB or Snapchat and won't understand why I don't want to be friends, and will never forgive him. Not to mention he actively preys on minors and any 18 year old. Recently he confessed to "sleeping" with his new girl/victim when she was 14 and he was 26 at the time and it made me violently ill. He's literally in his early 30s now.

In response to the cheating thing, while some people do feel guilt, the ones who do it again do it for the “thrill”. The like the drama, the attention, and to further manipulate their ‘partner’ by stating either dominance, something along the lines of “I could end it with you like that! So you better do what I like”. It’s crazy to think that humans can be like that, but as the internet revels, there are so many of them. It’s sad really... Okay; not a crazy ex story of my own. But BOY- it's wild. Kinda really long, so...sorry! :P Context: When I was in middle school, my 6th grade Algebra 1 teacher loved to nickname students. It was all cute and fun; and I actually made two of my best friends because of it. I was called Katniss because I always wore my hair in a single side French braid (still do, to be honest!) and the two guys that sat next to me were Peeta and Gale, because the truly did look like Peeta and Gale from the general book descriptions. After the third week of this, we all started talking outside of class and became close. Gale thought it was funny back then, but both he and I never really called each other the nickname when we weren't joking about it or teasing each other. Peeta LOVED it though, and has never stopped calling me Katniss or Gale, Gale and we have never stopped calling him Peeta even though it has been YEARS. Peeta's various girlfriends weren't okay with him calling me Katniss, so he stopped when we were all together, but sometimes he would slip up and call me it by accident, just out of pure habit. His three-year girlfriend in high school especially did not appreciate our friendship NOR the endearments, and even forced him to not interact with me in public, or to hang out with me unless nearly half the football team (which Peeta was on, and his girlfriend was friends with their girlfriends) was there. So, whenever he saw me in the halls at school, or at a party but he was next to his girlfriend he would whistle like an arrow passing as a way to say hi but really didn't talk to me outside of that. It played to the inside joke, and I understand how some girls can get over something like nicknames or close friendships with other girls, so I don't really blame the guy. I didn't want to step on anyone's toes, so it was enough. We still remained really good friends despite not talking as much as we used too, and Gale or other mutual friends sometimes played messenger for us when Peeta's girlfriend was being more possessive and jealous then normal and wouldn't let me anywhere near him. When it hit senior year and he was considering giving up his free ride to Texas A&M to follow her to MIT, I did what any sensible friend would do. Called him a f*cking idiot and told him not to do it. He had always given up his plans, or what he wanted in the relationship slide for her wants and her needs and her dreams. I never really commented about it- because it was never my place. His relationship, he can throw away his time, energy, and money for this girl and be absolutely whipped if that is what made him happy. But really?!? A full ride scholarship to a college of his dreams that had a one-way ticket to his dream job almost guaranteed upon graduation, gone, POOF! for a girl he could easily make it work with, long distance? I told him, in the end it was his decision, but just so he knew- I was personally against the idea. At the time I was planning on attending Texas A&M as well, so when his girlfriend heard that I told him not to follow her she took this as validation for her suspicion that I have been in love with Peeta for years and have been trying to steal him from her. But instead of talking to him, or even me- about it, like a normal rational human being, she waited for the 'confrontation' to have maximum impact. I don't know what she had originally planned, but this all went down in the most rom-com way possible. YEP. You guessed it, this all happened.... AT OUR SENIOR PROM. Honestly, I thought everything was going fine that night. I was finally getting along with her, Peeta and I could hang out more, I passed every class with a high A, high school was practically over, and my life was about to really begin. Life was good! So, I decided to be wild and kind of started this whole karaoke thing with the DJ (to our admins dismay) to get the party going with some actual good music (it was a dance and not a single Neon Trees song, I don't think so!) and it just continued throughout most of the night. People were trading the mic to others that had song recommendations and it was just a bunch of kids getting crazy. I was almost constantly on stage, duetting with friends that wanted to do it but were scared to do it alone, or just cause the person singing wanted me to continue dancing like an idiot on an elevated stage- I didn't mind, I was having the time of my life. When Peeta wanted to give it a go, I was already on stage, and we just had fun jamming out to Pitbulls' Everything Tonight. Which was, apparently, the final straw. Peeta's girlfriend got on stage halfway through the song, shut off the music, stole the mic from my hands, and then proceeded to accuse Peeta of cheating on her with me in front of the entire Senior class, about half of the schools teaching staff, and even a couple parents. There was nearly 1,000 people in that ball room, watching this on a huge projector and stage. It was quite a performance, and if I hadn't just spent four years in advanced, professional theatre classes with this chick, I wouldn't have been able to see she was acting; tears, runny mascara, voice cracks, the half-crazed "evidence" and "should've known's" of his infidelity. If I wasn't so upset and embarrassed, I would have been impressed. When Peeta tried to get her to calm down, and to talk with him in private, she just straight up started screaming like a banshee into the microphone. I swear this girl did not breath for a solid five minutes- she was just screaming. Then, like a Tasmanian devil, launched herself at me- decked out in six-inch heels and fake acrylic nails to cat fight me. I'm trained in Krav Maga, so I can defend myself pretty well. BUT I was ALSO decked out in heels, and a sleeveless, backless dress that really didn't allow combative movement (if you know what I mean). It was... intense. It all kind of dissolved into a bunch of yelling, and wrestling, and people trying to climb up into the DJ stage and booth to film it on their phones (someone even shouted WORLDSTAR) or break up the fight which Peeta and several others were trying to prevent ME from severely hurting HER. Some sound equipment was thrown through the window (we were on the third floor of a really tall hotel-terrifying), there was glass and bits of ice sculpture everywhere. But to top it all off, when she was finally restrained, and the rest of the senior class was slightly more chill, she asked Peeta, in near hysterics, "Why are you doing this to me?" (can anyone say gaslighting??) To which he replied: "Because you're no Katniss, b*tch." And then hotel security escorted her out, some girlfriends of mine helped me get back to party ready in the bathroom, and Prom resumed. I got high fives from random classmates, free food from the catering staff all night, and was celebrated at every afterparty I hit (went to prom with a group of girls so we just kind of bounced from place to place depending on where someone else in the group wanted to go). Peeta and I are still great friends, and I am happy to say that he is married to a woman who finds the Katniss thing as hilarious as he does, and their three-year-old daughter actually believes that it is my name. :P

I used to date this one girl, and at first, she seemed pretty chill in the relationship, and we would call a lot, there was a time, we were on a call, and I apparently said the wrong thing, and she got like really upset, and started saying to was going to 'commit unalive' is what we will call it, this went on for a year and of course, me being a responsible person, I have a life... if I didn't respond to her within 5 minutes, she would start saying stuff like "oh you don't love me" and stuff, we got into many arguments, and then she began to threaten me and started getting her siblings involved in this, but she also wouldn't let me leave her, and she would always come back with like apologies and stuff, and then the same thing always happened, and while we wouldn't date, she would accuse me of cheating, and say I never gave her enough attention, and she got a lot of people to hate me.

The only toxicity I ever had involvement with was in my 1st year at university, when a girl from the 3rd year invited me to be part of her pantomime, in April 🤷. Which was ambitious for our course, because my now co-manager and I couldn't achieve that at uni. This girl, we'll call her T quickly changed relationships from someone in 2nd year (a mutual friend) to me, then left me about a month after the pantomime was finished. "I feel like I need to work on myself" was how the general conversation of that phone call went, but by this point I had had enough of the messy eating, the messy makeup over her bedroom, the jealousy of me getting on well with people SHE introduced me to. She also alienated herself, purposefully, with the friends she introduced me to. One night was movie night at my place. Awesome, very much looking forward to it, all mutual friends, getting to know each other over a few movies and jacket/baked potatoes and trimmings. One friend explained to the other about how T often behaves, and T walks home! Leaving me with the mutual friends! We still made it a great night, but she made it that little bit more awkward. Not a great first post-school GF, but a lesson of what love does not look like. The worst aftermath I have seen from toxicity was the year before when one of my friends from FedEx, we'll call him S, met a hot girl, moved into a rental house with her, got great "Devil's tango" time with her - while other friends were in the house! Told him he worked and spent more with us than spending time with her. (Fedex wasn't/isn't a normal 9-5, it's sifted and dependant on when flights/shipments arrive). The final straw was when she loitered outside the Fedex warehouse for hours until security asked her what she wanted, she asks for S, who has to leave whatever he's doing - On an assembly line which never stops - to go tell his GF she can't stay there, which puts her into a frenzy, which leads to our manager having to come out and deal with her. 😫 Anyway S did split from her the year I went to Uni and I caught up with him the following August at another friends wedding to exchange stories about T, both of us questioning whether this was the reason for higher abuse/rape cases, and whether we would ever marry, because how could us "good guys" trust another girl to keep us good? Fast forward to today and I'm with a woman who has 2 kids, not a girl of high unattainable standards...which explains a lot.

Facts I was leaving my ex's house literally last week because his dad said I couldn't stay there no more and I was already getting a ride home and then I looked at my boyfriend and I was like how we going to do long distance he would be dead in my face got aggressive and said I don't even want to be with you I don't love you and I haven't for the last 2 days and I was like it doesn't make any sense kept trying to talk to him see if you could change his mind sat there for 30 minutes and silence and didn't give me no answer and I like the best of so what are we done he said yes and kicked me out that night mind you I had nowhere to go that night because I was going to ask if I could stay one more night there because I work the next day and she lives near my job so that night ended up having to go walk around until like 4:00 a.m. in the morning when I saw my friend and she let me sleep at her house until 5:00 in the afternoon which I then had worked then so I went to work work till like 12:00 at night and then had to get a ride all the way 30 minutes away from my job and just the way he ended it like you said there's no need to end relationships that way if you don't want to be with somebody just be like hey I don't like I'm not really as interested as I used to be not say things just to hurt their feelings just cuz you know that will make them leave cuz even after he texted me and asked me if I was okay and told me missed me but if you missed me them why would you break up with me is it that you were confused at the time or is there somebody else or are you not knowing what you really want and I'm pretty young but still had enough to know I can't deal with that

*Craziest Ex Girlfriend Story:* So after arguing for like 5 HOURS about us just being different people and possibly not making it in the future, she just decided that the real problem is that I wanted to have sex with other people which was always an accusation of hers, but this time she mentioned my mother AND sister... I live with my mother again (who is very young and quite beautiful too) and we used to argue a lot so my gf at the time just figured that it was due to the fact that there was a lot of built up sexual tension between us. There was no point talking any sort of sense into her at this point so I just decided to stay silent because I didn't know what to do. She REALLY believed that I wanted to have sexual relations with my mother and sister and went in full detail how I would "do it" if I had the chance for another hour or so. I said nothing for hours and just decided to go to bed because like... WHAT THE FUCK? But not before she yanked me back by the arm and bite my hand like a freaking animal, she even snarled as she did it. This was last year and I still have the bite mark on my hand to prove it. The scars look like something out of a vampire movie. She would punch, slap, scratch and violently grab me as usual and would convince me that since I am a man who practices MMA I should be able to "handle it". That's why watching the JD & AH trial brings up so many sucky memories... Yeah, we are no longer together and moving on was not an issue. She used to be a paramedic too btw 👌

That copying of keys is a serious fear I've had (especially after a break-up where the other person spent half the night pounding on my door and screaming to take them back). That's where smart locks are nice since you can issue and remove access individually, plus get notified if someone enters your home when you weren't expecting them to. I consider physical keys to be a backup and only for those on the lease or the deed.

I've got one, and I can describe it relatively short. At some point I found out she had a picture of herself making out with another guy on the profile/dating site that we were both on (seriously how did she think I would not see it?), she ended up claiming it wasn't real and someone must have faked it. Anyway, I ended up breaking up with her. The crazier part: she tried to get back in touch with me a year later, claiming she had my child.....which was a lie. So yeah, I met up with her mother, who told me it wasn't true, that she was in some sort of institution, and never saw/heard anything from her again afterwards.

Not quite an ex story, but I went on a “date” once with this guy when I was a freshman in high school and he was a sophomore or junior. After that, he kept coming to me again and again, no matter how many times I said no, for another “date” or to be his girlfriend. I eventually moved schools for unrelated reasons. We still texted because I didn’t want to be mean and break contact, but I evaded the topic of meeting up. Found out later that he was harassing a girl I started dating, yelling at her in the halls and stuff that she was “keeping me from him”. I finally broke contact with him after that. I lived with my former best friend of 13 years almost ten years ago. After what I discovered to be a landslide of lies and manipulation I decided to go elsewhere. She went insane over this, calling it a divorce like we had been a thing even though I was already dating who is now my fiancee at the time. She threw my stuff out of the house, tried to keep some of it, succeeded in keeping some of it. And then I heard later that she sold a sex toy to a minor, got in trouble for it, and tried to tell the police I was the one who had done it. The kid was old enough to say it wasn't me and I guess that's the reason the law never contacted me over it, I have no idea if that's true. But she also told her daughter I was dead and to this day I still have trust issues because of it all.

I got stalked by an ex for several years. She was a walking red flag, living in a halfway house run by this smuggler called Pastor Pete who had pretty recently been released from prison after 15 years. Anyway, I noped right out of there when it clicked how messed up her whole situation was and she ended up getting committed shortly after. She would call me from the hospital every day and I told her that I couldn't deal with her and to stop calling me. Her mom called and told me that she was going to send some bangers to kill me - so I called the police and had her arrested. Eventually, she gets out of the loony bin and started stalking me on the internet. She did it in a really weird way. She would hack into my Facebook account and unblock herself. That was it. So I would have to go to her page and block her - her banner picture was always a message to me. Eventually, the picture was her with a guy who looked exactly like me. I thought it was photoshopped at first, but several photos later and I'm sure it was just my doppelganger. At first it was to tell me that they were dating, then engaged, then married, then divorced, then "please take me back", and then I deleted all of my social media and created new accounts under different names and made sure to never post a picture of myself. I haven't heard from her in a couple of years thankfully.

I have a recent crazy ex story. So about two and a half months ago, my ex, let's call them Finch, came to my house and cussed out my parents in my front yard after I had just come out to my parents as trans and pansexual (he/him). They then went home after we called the police on them, cuz we thought they had a g*n, and tried to k*ll them self. My mom sent the police over there for a wellness check and Finch spent a week in the hospital. We then got back together because they continued to manipulate me. The manipulation got worse and I told them we needed to take a break for a bit. Then my parents wanted me to take Finch off of the family tracking app I have in my phone and I warned Finch before I did so they didn't think it was cuz I hated them. They freaked out and threatened me with blackmail they were gonna send to my mom if I took them off. I told my parents about it, taking away the power of said blackmail, took Finch off the tracking app and told them I'd call the police if it got leaked. They continued to freak out and try to manipulate me more but it was already too late for that because I could already see through the lies. I blocked them on almost everything and told them our relationship was over. Few days later Finch goes on social media and tells their followers that I'm ghosting them after a two year relationship (it was a year and a half) and that I told them to k*ll them self (which I didn't and would never do). So yeah. They've still tried to contact me a few times, like yesterday, but I want to be as far away from that situation as possible. So yeah, super recent, still ongoing, crazy ex story 👍🏻

A small update. They tried to email me and at one point they made it sounds like they weren't gonna be alive in the morning cuz they'd done something to hurt them self. So I was able to convince them to call the police on them self, and they told me the next morning that they were in the hospital again. They started trying to talk to me again through email and whenever I responded, I made sure to be extremely standoffish and defensive and give ZERO signs that I wanted to get back with them or even be friends with them. After a few days of them trying to get on my good side, they confronted me about said coldness, saying they didn't feel like "my heart wanted them anymore", to which I responded that I thought I'd already made that VERY clear. They proceeded to freak out again, saying if there wasn't a chance for us to be together again, then there was no reason for them to be alive, that they weren't messaging me ever again and didn't care if I thought they were alive or de*d (which I do care but I digress). I didn't respond to that cuz I wasn't gonna feed into the crazy. I didn't get anything else from them till almost noon the next day when their mom emailed me. She said "I'm not sure what kind of sick game you've been playing, but I want [their] stuff back. The games are over, I hope you're happy". This crazy ex story happened to my best friend when we were in high school. My friend broke up with her boyfriend because he was cheating on her and had been for a while. After the break up which turned into him standing outside her house screaming for over two hours. The cops were called and he finally left. Then he started sending my friend “gifts” in the mail. Like stuffed animals that were cut up or burned. And other things that were extremely disturbing. My friend finally had to file a restraining order. Thankfully when she went to college the guy never followed her. But it was a real worry that he might keep stalking her. I learned later that the guy was serving a prison sentence for doing this same thing to another girl.

Well the night before I finally broke up with my ex, we were having another hour long chat about the usual stuff. I wasn’t doing the do with him (birth control made me lose any motivation for it), he would constantly accuse me of cheating on him with other dudes ( I could never do something like that, especially to the guys he accused me on cheating on him with), and plenty of other things. I was tired of it. Eventually it got so heated he told me that even if we were married, he would MAKE me love him again. As if I’d marry him when I didn’t love him! He also sprouted other nonsense like that before I just turned off my phone. At one point he told me that I took over the place of his dead dog. Yes, you heard that right. Apparently I gave him the same comfort that a deceased pet had once given him. So weird to be compared to a dog like that. But in a final attempt for me to talk to him again after the breakup, he logged into my PS4 account. We had play-shared some games, so my account was already logged into his system. He went in while I was playing a game with my best friend (that’s how I know he did it) and changed my settings. He set it to 2 step verification and I hadn’t put my phone number in my account. He had locked me out of my account on a Friday night. I couldn’t reopen my account until Tuesday because of a holiday. I assume he put in his phone number so that I had to talk to him. I knew it was him because the only other person with my account info was my best friend and we were trying to play a game that night together online. All that just for me to talk to him

Here to be an outlier. I haven't been a crazy ex as I've never dated anybody, but when my crush cut contact with me, I went crazy. To be honest with you, I cyber stalked her for like 5-6 months and I was very obsessive. However, when I turn 18 in less than 6 months, I plan to tell a doctor so I can get help.

@@katiedavis2046 I'm trying to get help now, but I've been put on a waiting list that's months long, so I'm not sure when I can get it. And honestly I think I've improved since then. It's been almost 3 years since the incident and I've done some self help stuff and ever since becoming aware of my issues (I wasn't aware when I stalked her), I'm so much better at controlling myself and my emotions, and even when I feel really bad emotionally, I internalise it and try to communicate, instead of lash out. I still definitely have things to work on, like how to not feel such negative emotions over certain things and how to calm myself down, but I'm hoping I can do this when I finally get help. And I honestly I wasn't thinking properly. I didn't think about how it was scaring her, fucking up her sense of trust, etc. I was very selfish and only thought of myself and how I felt at the time, not her. I thought she was the reason I was experiencing mood swings and feeling absolutely terrible, so I guess I didn't really care about her feelings anyway, but I think I've thankfully grown since then and realised the errors of my ways. I'm actually surprised I only made this comment 2 months ago because for a while now I've kind of just wanted to forget about the whole situation and move on, as I don't feel like it represents me anymore and I know I'm probably not that type of person anymore, so I'm surprised I actually stated this on the internet.

Just to everyone who is suffering from psycho ex's, I admire you. Why, you might ask? Well, first off, you had to deal with that sucker for quite a while, seeing that you were in a relationship with them, and then you had the strength to cut it off and build yourself back up. Maybe you're still building yourself up, and maybe you don't know where to begin just yet, but know that you are strong, because if I was ever in a relationship like that, I'd be afraid to break up simply because of my fear of being alone. You have to be brave to separate yourself from a hurtful person, and the fact that you all have done that, and have continued to fight back against them even though they desperately try to find ways to get back with you is almost like a heroic trait to me. I admire you all, and I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day. Trust me, life will get better as long as you have at least one person standing behind you.

He seemed like a genuinely nice guy and we had plenty of memorable times during our relationship....until I found out that he was behind my last breakup. I was furious because I was happily engaged in that previous relationship. I won't go into details about it but holy hell was I hurting so much to the point where I refused to come out of my room or eat for several days. Anyway, I broke up with him right away, and he did *NOT* take it well. What initially was just multiple attempts to get me to answer his calls and texts became WATCHING ME THROUGH MY APARTMENT WINDOWS - yes.....WINDOWS - EVERY. F*ING. NIGHT. WHILE KEEPING HIMSELF HIDDEN IN THE WOODS JUST BEHIND MY APARTMENT COMPLEX. Every night for several hours while I had no idea, he saw me cooking, cleaning, studying, dressing, and sleeping. Eventually he showed up at my door with a gun in his hand and threatened to shoot himself right then and there if I didn't take him back. I calmly told him, "Alright. Wait here and let me finish my call with my lab partner and we'll talk." He fell for it. I actually called my neighbor for help and then came back to the door with pepper spray and nailed him just as my neighbor was stepping out of her apartment door. She called the cops and took his gun away when she realized what was going on and did not let him run off. Cops arrived within minutes. I have been super picky with dating since then. And this was about 5 years ago.

I definitely have the craziest ex story - can’t go into much detail because of court proceedings: Rich girl, met at rich school, she joined a cult, made a bomb scare that shut down campus, got committed, got out, FBI got involved in multiple states, she’s now facing charges for DV (against me), assaulted an officer, and has an arrest warrant for making death threats against me. Oh, side note - she got into heroin after I ended things and now has a kid from a homeless guy. She lives in a beach house in a very wealthy area.

Just wanna say, in light of the very public court proceedings of certain celebs recently, that I'm very glad you had the courage to report the abuse you endured. I was blessed to be raised by a fantastic mother who taught me that just because "society" says something doesn't mean it's right or true. I know that society says men can't be victims of DV, that women can't be abusers, and I know that that's a bunch of bullshit because DV isn't gender-specific. But I know that it is much harder for men to report being abused because "society" tells everyone not to believe them, which truly breaks my heart. I hope this can change and that our society as a whole will end the narrative of DV means "man abuses woman" and start seeing the truth which is DV means "abuser abuses victim" Anyway, sorry for the little rant, just feeling things heavily today and felt really touched to see a DV victim say their abuser was/is a female and not be immediately attacked or called a liar in the replies. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's really hard to find words to express what I mean correctly. My neurodivergent brain struggles with articulating things I feel strongly about lol

Unfortunately, this has been in the court system for 2 years at this point so my reporting it was not influenced by the Depp v Heard trial. I do hope that the culture has started to shift, though! It's crazy the lack of support for male victims. Thankfully I've kept records of everything and photos/recordings/videos so I couldn't be ignored by the magistrate/police. Once I got a court date, there was no support. They gave me a phone number to a 'victim support' program which flatly told me they only support women. They still ask me for money at least once a month to 'support women'. They still send me their 'believe all women' newsletters. One thing I was glad to see in the Depp v Heard trial was the emphasis on verbal/emotional abuse. From my experience, verbal/emotional abuse is much more common than physical abuse from female abusers and honestly I think verbal/emotional abuse is much more effective against men than physical abuse. When I was physically attacked, it was surreal - I knew I could defend myself (and did) without physically attacking her - just wall up and let her swing away and so it almost felt ridiculous to press charges against her. It took 3 of these incidents along with destruction of some very valuable property and the suggestion of *her* mother that I press charges for me to finally do it. The psychological effects of the gaslighting and verbal/emotional abuse and threats are the parts I'm still dealing with. I went from being a confident, take-charge kind of person to really being in a shell and didn't really realize it. The weird thing is when you finally start to get through a situation like this and you look logically at all the things you could be upset with but at the end of the day you just want the person to get better and to be able to move on yourself.

Once I had a kind of bad ex experience. Everyday my ex would take pictures of me in class without me knowing, and then sending them to my sister and I. He also started following me everywhere. Eventually I got a school counsler to help me, and he was expelled.😅

Oh man. I have so many crazy ex stories. I don't know what it is but I always seemed to attract really terrible people. I've had 3 major stalkers. But I'll tell the story about one of them. When I was 16 years old, I met a guy who was in the army. He seemed so sweet, and was always saying the kindest things and bringing gifts over not just for me, but for my mom, aunt and sister as well (I grew up with my mom and aunt because my dad wasn't in my life yet). And they all seemed to really like him. Well, he told us he was 18. And as the age of consent was 16 where I lived and he wasn't pressuring me, just being very nice, my mom was okay with us dating. Well, it got to the point where we started fooling around, not sex, just doing other intimate things. And he left his wallet at our house one time. But I also always had friends over at my house, so my mom opened the wallet to see who it belonged to. She found an ID, and sure enough.... It was the army guy's. Military ID. In which stated he was 26 years old. TWENTY SIX. Yeah... It took my mom every ounce of control she had to not beat the crap out of him. She tried to tell the cops, nothing happened. They talked to me, never went anywhere with it. Of course. So, a few weeks later, I tell a few friends I'm going to go to the park. I walk there. I used to go sit on the swings to clear my head. I didn't know he had been parked at the park and was watching me. Not until a couple hours later, when I started walking back home. He pulled up next to me in a black car I saw at the park, and asked me if I needed a ride back. I told him I would call the cops if he didn't leave immediately. I called my aunt to come get me, and she did. Things like this kept happening. I'd see him at Walmart, or our Kroger store. Not buying anything. Just showing up at the area of the store I happened to be shipping in. With my family. I'd see him driving around downtown when no one knew I was going to be there except the people I was with. He'd end up everywhere I went. And then I thought I was rid of him for a long time. Until I was 19 and got a phone call from an unknown number. It was him. Calling from jail. He needed someone to come pick him up. He was in jail because a 16 year old girl accused him of R. So at this point he was 29. He tried to tell me that he refused to have sex with her, and she liked him so much that she wanted to get him into trouble because he wouldn't do it. Yeah..... Okay. I didn't believe him for a second. Told him if he ever called me again, I would call the cops. Blocked him, again. I had been blocking every cellular attempt he made to contact me for years. That was the last I heard from him, except one of his friends later told me he was dishonorably discharged for what he did. Apparently I was not the first. And he used to tell his friends that all us 16 year old girls were 18-20. It took a long time before anyone knew the truth or believed us.

A long time ago I had my first Valentine's day with a partner. My gift to her was her favourite food and some flowers plus a trip to the movies later that night and her gift to me was a cute little card that had everything I was doing wrong as a boyfriend written inside. This was from my ex who cheated on me during my birthday and stole all my friends labeling me the toxic ex. Even went as far as to get the school involved with our drama so I would suffer more my junior year. However she dropped out of school, lost all her friends after they found out how shitty she really was, and even got fired from her dream job cause she was terrible at it. I get in a relationship with someone that i’m genuinely happy with and she messages them and threatens him, saying he needs to break up with me. They show me the messages and i text her about it, asking her to stop, and she doesnt. she harasses both him and me for the next month, and tried to call the police on me for “theft” from CANADA. i lived in the southern part of the US at the time. she got a warning from the police and stopped for a while, then created a new insta account to continue harassing us. its an ongoing thing that we’re trying to sort out.
