A social media influencer and her mother have been sentenced to life in prison for ambushing and murdering two men when their car was rammed off the road.

Mahek Bukhari, aged 24 was handed a minimum 31 year term and her mother Ansreen Bukhari will have to serve 26 years and nine months behind bars - for the murders of Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin in February last year.

What gets me is that the mother Ansreen had at least two other affairs (allegedly) before this one with Saqib. Is her husband completely oblivious to what his wife is up to. Ansreen must be a good liar and a good actress at the same time for not letting him know what she really has been up to. She's kept this secret for many years. Then the daughter Mahek kept the latest affair under the carpet. When infidelity goes on for a long time, do they think that no one ever will find out. Well, the whole world knows now. What a complete and utter embarrassment the mother and daughter are to their immediate family, relatives and people who know them. I personally don't feel sorry for the husband, he must be partially blind. The only one I have any sympathy for in the Bukhari family is the son. Now that the mother and daughter have been sentenced for a very long time, and rightly so, hope that the husband and son can get on with their lives in a positive way. It's not going to be easy as it's going to be a burden on them visiting and dealing with any issues for the next thirty years or so. You simply can't put a price on freedom.

Alternatively, in instances involving the father abandoning his duties as a parent, immense stress and trauma for both the children and mother is caused through no fault of their own. It is a father’s responsibility to be present in his children’s lives, even if he and the mother are separated. Finally, there are plenty of children who grow up in healthy, happy and secure two-parent households without a father. Children thrive in homes with two loving mothers. This tragic case relates to homicide and blackmail and is unrelated to single mothers. 🤦

Uk Sentencing for murder seems to be getting slightly better, of course it should be life with no parole in most cases but still it seems better than in the past the last few years. Sentencing for other crimes such as robbery, burglary, drugs, etc. is still an absolute joke though as they currently cant afford to keep everyone in the failing prison system.

Who would try to extort someone with whom they had been having an affair by because they had ended the affair? If they had never had the affair, they would never have been in the situation. They are all victims of lacking awareness and empathy, as is so often the case I'm these times. For anyone who views this comment as lacking awareness or empathy, that's an inaccurate interpretation.
