I agree with you about most CosRx products being over-hyped. I tried the snail mucin moisturizer (the one that comes in a jar) and it's so sticky that it interferes with my makeup. Also, I bought the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen stick on your recommendation for travel and absolutely love it. My one rec for you is the Privacy UV Sunscreen Mist from Japan. It's perfect for applying over makeup and really works. I'm the lightest shade in every makeup and have been using this for years without getting any color. It's also very affordable.

The snail mucin essence is the kind of Product, that makes me question whether or not it’s working while İ’m using it. But once İ run out of it and don’t use it for some time, my skin ends up being so dull and … unhealthy looking? I've been using Corsx mucin power essence everyday for over 8 months and I'm so glad I found it. My Dad and friends keep asking if I've had botox 😂when I've never had any fillers.. I apply it after applying freezing water to my face when I wake up & before bed. It's made my skin like silk. I bought the moisturiser as well which i use a few times a week when i need it. I buy my cosrx products from amazon when on sale i buy 4 bottles at £10 each... just make sure it's Cosrx as there's so many cheaper fakes. Everyone is different but cosrx was definitely worth the hype for me! 😊 I luv this channel btw ♡

Seems like I'm the only person who has not had a good experience with either of the BoJ sunscreens, the rice one made me look suuuuper shiny and honestly the texture reminds me of watery snot. The stick, while mattifying, balls up like there's no tomorrow no matter what I do.

I'd suggest checking out LabMuffinBeauty on YT. She has a chemistry phd & is a cosmetic chemist, her videos are veeery informative yet easy to understand. And she has PLENTY about sunscreens including differences between chemical and mineral. :)

agreed about cosrx products being overrated. the snail mucin made me break out like crazy, and my skin is not acne prone. i rarely break out and i literally had so many pimples and bumps all over my face 🙃 and it also gave my boyfriend a horrible allergic reaction. his skin was red, puffy and peeling for a week straight after i put it on him. threw it in the trash and will never buy a product from them again lmao

I don't know if a lot of people can relate but I have dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. Cosrx pimple patches made my pimples worse whereas Hero is highly superior. The snail mucin essence is not at all heavy and helps with my blemishes so much. Beauty of Josean sunscreen is not suitable for my type of skin, it burns my skin. Issintree is great but starts showing pores. Beauty of Joseph serums literally gave me pimples. So I think his recommendations are more based on combination to oily skin.

I have fair skin and wear make up daily with a sunscreen underneath, but don't know of a sunscreen product that I could reapply throughout the day OVER my makeup that won't end up turning it to shit! The ordinary AHA+BHA peeling solution I’m a 18 year old girl struggling with tanning, pimples, hyperpigmentation spots, eye bags, pores around the nose and wrinkly eyes (they aren’t extreme but they’re there). This is the skin care routine I build after a little bit of research. If any of these will not help/worsen my condition please mention it! As well as any products that i should replace or remove. Thankyou!!

Hey girly!! I also have these problam and we’re same age so I thought I might suggest a few things!! I would say only use one cleanser during the day time if you have oily skin like me or skip cleansing your face with a product. Also it might be better to use actives and acids at night such as your 5% acid as our its better to have a simpler daytime skincare routine and focus on our problems areas at night. I also suggest Vitamin C for hyperpigmentation (use it at night and pair it with sunscreen in the morning to avoid damage) and for eye bags I have been recently using The Beauty of Joseon eye cream and maybe you can try that or any other eye cream. Hope this helps!!
