The problem is that so many people have become celebrities without really earning their fame. There’s little of the hard work and dedication we see in actors and musicians who are serious about their craft. Too many people are famous for being on social media, at events or on reality tv. Or they’re too famous too soon and can’t deal with it. Time will tell who stays in the public eye and who disappears, but in this world of fast food we have fast fame too, and some of these pretty people seem like such shallow, empty vessels. Not all, of course, but they are influencing our children, and sometimes it’s just really unfortunate to see.

Celebrities have lost their shine regarding many issues, by many generations. Epstien Island, Diddy, and diddler situation. People are taking their power back from celebrities and business from every direction of the political spectrum. Celebrities may be buying again, but they are becoming less important and less powerful in people's lives. So many movies are coming out, and people aren't wasting their energy to bother finding out wether they are any good. The entertainment industry has abused their audiences for money, and forgotten that the fans pay their bills. They started thinking they were more important than thei fans. They presumed to dictate and belittle, rather than merely share their views. They sought to dictate society, by over involving themselves in the publics views. Now they are be demanded to participate by some, and told to not imagine their opions to be more important than they are by others. As if that wasn't enough, more and more of them are being accused of having Sound of Freedom, Harvey Weinstein, and Jeffrey Epstien like behavior. It's time they realize that they are no more valuable than the next. As long as it is non violent, they need a healthy dosecof reality. They need the Bud Light treatment. They will never regain their standing. Target has modified it's behavior greatly, could still modify more. Different people applying preasure for different reasons. It still gets the job done. There's plenty of entertainment in the old movies, shows, and music. And plenty of foreign entertainment if our entertainers won't respect us. The TikToker's are new to the fight. They are the ones the entertainment industry had the most influence on. They supported this type of action when it was aimed elsewhere. Even if they end up letting up, others won't. They need to learn some lessons.

There's really no excuse for censorship. Just because they are celebrities doesn't mean they owe the public ANYTHING. In fact, this just shows how ridiculous celebrity culture is. These people are saying "You're a celebrity. Why aren't you solving the world's problems? It's your responsibility." This like bumper stickers that say, "Stop AIDS." Yes, I'll do that tomorrow, after I've freed Tibet.

This is an awful thing to say even by today's society. It is said that Marie Antoinette, the then Queen of France, was informed by an advisor that her people weren't being given the proper supplies to survive from day to day (such as bread as well as the makings for bread.) Apparently her response was "Then let them eat cake." (which is far more expensive to make than bread.) This is an insult on the poor society back then as well as today's society. It's not proven if Marie Antoinette actually said this, but it's offensive to those of us who can't afford the lavish things in life.

I get why people do this. But not all celebrities are multi-millionaires or even billionaires. I personally admire 1 celebrity and he's not even a multi-millionaire. 99% of the them aren't Taylor Swift or RDJ levels of wealth. The celebrity I admire helped me in my depression and suicide and I'm still here, and he's not even that much famous. True, celebrity culture as a whole might be too much, but pointing fingers at ALL of them is also bigotry. I agree 50% about this blocking, but at the same time, the biggest influences to make real change are the billionaires like Elon Musk. He's the one who should be grilled with all his excessive wealth. With all billionaire's money, they could end the genocide and make ceasefire right now!
