1:40 honestly that sounds more like an OCD thing. having to do some sort of "ritual" (such as drinking 4 times or praying twice a day) because you're worried that something bad will happen if you don't is mainly what OCD is. I think people stereotype it a lot and most think that it's just obsessive hand washing and being scared of getting ill, but it's more than that

When i was a teen, i used to be terrified that the house would burn down in my sleep and kill my family. So i had this ritual where I'd walk around and make sure the lights were off multiple times. It would take me atleast an hour to complete before bed. It would be worse during times of stress. Ive grown out of it now (thankfully)

cam that sounds a lot like ocd. i’ve been diagnosed since i was really young and i do the exact same things as you. people tend to think ocd is keeping things organised and even though that can be the case sometimes it’s usually the way you do things like feeling paraniod if you don’t do something a certain amount of times or the praying to keep your family safe twice a day. there are a lot of things that can help with it though!

Like if I accidentally touch something while having a bad thought (bad like negative, not bad like dirty lol) I have to touch it 3 more times t make 4. Or I have to repeat things 4 times. Sometimes I have to do it 4 x 4 times. It's exhausting!

I have a similar thing, because I have OCD I have a really weird set of rules. If I walk by something, step on a specific surface or whatever it has to be 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 times. And if it is an odd number above 1, like 3 or 5 then it has to start on my right foot because I always have to stop walking over something on my right foot. Like it sounds made up but I genuinely do have to, otherwise it justs irritates me. And it's the same with video games, my gun in a shooter has to have ammo that's on a multiple of the magazine capacity so each reload fits perfectly. If I have a gun with a 30 round mag, my ammo storage has to be in the multiple of 30s otherwise I just feel weird. If I have a sandwich for example, I have to eat the crust in 5 bites and the rest of it in 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 bites. Genuinely is so weird since it makes NO difference in my life, like I could just eat normal or do any of this normal but my mind just doesn't let me.
