that last one made me tear up. I've been feeling hopeless lately. I've been trying to get a job so I can move out of the small town that's been crushing my spirit. It isn't easy. I've been thinking and rethinking my life so many times I lost count. I have no idea what I want to do with my life because, if I'm being honest, I never thought I would make it this far. For years I struggled with a medical condition that I was sure was going to overtake me and keep me from ever being able to do anything other than survive. Now that I defeated it, I'm having to learn to live again. Your videos help. They make me smile and unwind. Thank you.

Same here, happy tears. Been thru a tough time but I think I'm nearly out of it now. Coincidentally today I remembered that living in the city isn't good for my spirit. Take some time to sit quietly and think about what's most important to you, and follow your heart. And you could try forming some good daily habits like morning gratitudes, self care, deep breathing, get out for a walk (I have a list as they're not yet set as habits). Know that you matter and you are supposed to be here. Good luck 💚💚💚

Thank you my friend!! The same to you!!! It's important that people realize, it's all about keeping it positive and how you view your situation. Stay positive, and people are more active to help. But batching and complaining drives people away. No matter how much you've helped others. And granted, I never complained that people weren't helping, or that I helped them and they never helped me... but one day I didn't have it in me to complain, I was just empty and hollow and done... and a friend seemed more helpful with me showing indifference to my situation. Then I started acting like it wasn't affecting me at all and I was just tired if I wasn't in a happy mood. And people got really supportive and friendlier than they had been and really gave me some great advice. Next thing I knew, I was getting my foot in the door at a great place that let me work for myself (and no it wasn't an MLM lol) I was training dogs and baby sitting and walking animals. It was a great job and wonderful pay. Now I not only am doing great but I feel healthier than I've ever been. I started taking care of me as well as my kid. And it made a world of difference. Please, let me hear you brag about something amazing recently, I want to celebrate your achievements!! Go off bestie!!!

I was in the same situation a year ago. I let my teachers know what had been going on and hunkered down and did as much as I could. I passed all but one of the classes, the one class wouldn't take any late work. Only put me behind half a semester, but it worked out. Just take a deep breath and believe in yourself.
@taylorh55492 жыл бұрын
@tirsedenia Girl I have been there too! I missed almost a whole semester one year due to depression. I was embarrassed to go back too so I met with my teachers privately and explained what was happening. To my surprise all of them were extremely understanding and even told me stories of when they experienced the same thing. I got extensions for some projects. I was able to take my tests in a room by myself. And if I was too far behind in a class I requested for a W (aka a withdrawal) from the class so it didn't affect my GPA. Those Ws saved me from losing my scholarship. Trust me you got this. I graduated college in 5 years instead of 4 but I graduated knowing I worked my butt off to get there. You can too!!!

I hope she realizes that she's very talented and shouldn't let other's critiques get to her, or her own, as we can be our own harshest critic. NO FREAKIN’ WAY!!! That candy cane demo is at one of our favorite shops! It’s a tiny candy shop called Logan’s Candies in Ontario, CA. They do these demos for whoever happens to score a spot by the counter and at the end they cut some of the fresh candy into little pillowy squares and everyone gets a free warm sample of the candy. 10/10 especially at Christmas. My daughter, who doesn’t care for peppermints usually, loves theirs. It’s probably something about watching a demo and then getting to try. Makes you want to just jam the stuff right into your mouth… so they allow you to do so on a small scale. Also peppermint pillows are very cute. Oh, and though I don’t think you can see it here, last I saw they had a GIANT candy cane on the wall.

You are allowed to take time, recover, and make space for self-care. Not all pressure, darkness and crushing is transformative; it can also break you.
