Okay, this is a good method for creating usable files for re-use, probably, but Publisher has a way to simplify this process. Just create the document at the final size you want, and in the print dialogue, (File>Print) there is a drop-down box called "Model." Under model, choose "Tiled Printing" and add an overlap, like a quarter inch or half inch in the shown box. The preview panel will show you what each page of the final print will look like, and just hit "OK." Then trim and paste them up! You can also use the scaling setting in the printer to change the size of your final print, but it doesn't show you a full preview, like it did in Serif Page Plus.

You are correct, but many of my viewers only have AP. Either way, thanks for the tip for those who do have it.
And what happens when you can’t link rectangle to the file keep trying but doesn’t happen.

I did this video a long time ago so I had to rewatch it. I am not sure what you mean by can't link the triangle. I followed the instructions again and it worked. File dpi must be the same for all files. The only mistake I made in the video was to let people know that if they are making a transfer and not a poster they should reverse the graphics because the transfer goes on in reverse.

@@DigitallyFearless what I meant was when you shade out your area to print, the videos I’ve seen say drag and sit it under your group of files which it wouldn’t let me. I had another play today and some thing couldn’t do it, so I opened up three pages and made those pages to the size of my paper which is 610x2400mm where my full image was 1800x2400mm. So after this I went to print each page, now before I go there when I had my page at 1800x2400 and print I went to tile it and it showed three pages great but when I printed it only the background printered, so back to my three pages once again went to print but single this time as there were three pages but once again it printed background only??! I figured with nothing to lose I tried flatten image and it worked until I ran out of paper, but the down side to this is after I flatten image I can’t change anything again. I know this isn’t right or there has to be an easier way. But still learning affinity photo. Was starting to think all these KZbin and forums which aren’t to many for doing posters size stuff, could only be done in designer and not photo. I hope this make sense to you. And thanks for your reply. Shame we can’t add video or photo to show you what was going on.

Hi Rich, great tutorial. I heard you mention the high cost of your ink. I'm using an Epson Ecotank printer which doesn't use cartridges. My photos look really good with this printer and the ink is really inexpensive.

Thanks Steve. When I am ready for a new printer I will probably get that one.
