This is a great song. I wonder if it could be adapted for bagpipes. The pedal tone from the shruti box reminds me of bagpipe drones, and I was thinking a band could play this for their slow air - but I don't know if it would translate, if the beauty and character would be preserved on a bagpipe adaptation.

Listening to your music, among other artists', has helped me come to peace with my work reconnecting to my Irish heritage -- I know this is Scottish music, of course! But I know the languages, Gaeilge and Gàidhlig, can be very similar, and share similar histories. Hello Julie, l have been a fan a few years now, spanish speaker mainly, l find that a lot of the traditional songs you sing are only in gaelic wich is very difficult to me, there is not a lot of material, lyrics and stuff, and l would like to help preserve and share these beautiful songs to spanish speakers who are unfamiliar with history and the language. Would you be so kind to help me out with some songs and translated lyrics if possible? l can translate from english to spanish but l do not know how to translate from gaelic.
