I loved this show and Steptoe and son yes minister the goons etc I think they have a little to do with my world view When younger an uncle of mine worked for a national broadcaster. He was the most cynical/sceptical and aware person i ever knew. Funny though his scepticism/ cynicism was directed at his industry and the political class he was open to and interested in people ordinary and extraordinary. I remember how he was happy to indulge my latest point of view with humour and patience. I dont think i convinced him of anything but i always felt like i was heard. I remember my last conversation with him like it was yesterday. He finished with " you'll be alright because your usually paying attention". Hmm! Don't know where that cane from Thanks for the trip down memory lane

Hit the nail on the head. They told everyone years ago, unfortunately the majority never took heed. The misconception regarding telling the people due to a law of karma is false. They have no obligation to do such, the reason(s) they do it is both complicated and simplistic at the same time. It is based on their fundamental belief in the role of polarity, not karma.

Yeah, I watched that about a year ago and my jaw dropped that it was being said so explicitly. But then if you watch another episode they expose Jimmy Savile's character. Also the constant theme of immigration and political rowing between Alf and the scouse git revealed what now appear timeless issues. I would say though, that all that stuff is coming to a head now, as they have revealed the great reset to us openly. I loved that series, the characters and scripts were fantastic, I'm surprised it's not been taken down and burned by the powers that shouldn't be....

One of my fave tv shows this was, as well as Love Thy Neighbour, On The Buses, Upstairs & Downstairs, Bless This House, The Avengers, Please Sir, The Fenn Street Gang, Open All Hours, The Liver Birds, Father Dear Father, AND I've just remembered how it was Z Cars theme tune got me into learning how to whistle properly lol Damn! Even tho less channels back then, playing out more, etc, I've just realised I still managed to watch far toooo much! Glad I did my psychology thesis, on brainwashing advertising, as I started to see/understand that it was in everything after doing that. I was questioning b4, how was it, mums and grandmas, were so addicted to Crossroads and Coronation Street (which I really disliked) I'd get told to shut up, be quiet, so I'd go off and read a book, or if we were out and about, it would be drop everything to get home in time for them to watch it, (some form of curfew? 🤔) otherwise they'd almost have a meltdown and be asking friends, neighbours, etc, what they had missed. They were like drug addicts, needing their next fix! And I can assure you, I'm not exaggerating! My mum would turn horrible, if I dared to make any noise during one of her soaps! Well, you certainly stirred up my old memories. Glad I got unhooked, from watching the box years ago. Look forward to you finding more old, episodes like this!

Very interesting, especially the comment about the army and war. My old mum was in the ATS during WW2 and always used to say that they put "jollop" in the tea urns to limit libido. She found out herself when an old hand warned her as she was about to take a cuppa from an urn that had just been "jolloped". My parents generation were as clued up as we are now as most of them ate proper food as youngsters. She also used to go about margarine.......

WoW !! It was there all the time. There's nothing new under the sun, etc, etc... Here's an American quote from history, by the C 👁A : "The Individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a Conspiracy so Monstrous that he cannot believe it exists..." Thank You, Kris. There were some great programmes in the '70's, before everything changed
