Just tripped over this one. As a youth I had a chance to visit the Tilly Whim Caves when they were still open to the public. Truly fascinating. As an older man with a then young family I came back many times although by then the "Caves" were closed to visitors. A very beautiful part of the world locked in the mind and hearts of all of my now grown up family.

As a teenager I used to run the kiosk at the entry gate during the Summer in the late 60’s. Every evening I had to “search” the caves to make sure everyone was gone and then turn off the lights as I came back up.
