Really good points and review. Glad I searched and found it. I have the ReadyRig GS w/ Vega and it's great with the Tilta Ring. I also have the Float, but never did the upgrades to it. I bought the Tilta vest, but it was far too small for me. The Float sits and I've put it up for sale. I'd like to rent the EasyRig and see if I like it better than the ReadyRig.

i love that you didn't choose an actual winner. Because nobody wants to hear that the solution they chose is the not the good one (even tho in this case it really depends on how you use the solutions). 🙂

Thank you, that was very helpful. This looks like a case of 2 varieties of the same fruit. There are elements of each that are in my 'want' list, so it looks like I have to buy both, so that leaves the bigger concern of explaining the reasoning to my wife.😬🤣🤣

Also looking at a steadicam aero with their steadimate-rs that I haven't seen much info on. Some of the float features look great, but the steadicam is probably more ergonomic and can also be used normally without gimbal ...sigh. Decisions decisions

Thanks for the comparison. I have also used different systems. Easyrig, Ready Rig, Tilta float and Steadicam G-50x with the Fawcett Exovest I like the Tilta float the least. As you say, you need a lot of upgrades and nerves. I had a lot of discussions with Vaho ;) The most important thing is the stability of the hardware. The rod of the Tilta Float bends a bit, this interrupts the connection with the camera. So I don't have what I have calibrated. I was very positively amazed at how Tilta designed the float arm. Great quality and handling for this size. I'd rather not talk about the attachment to the vest and the vest itself. With Steadicam I am connected 1:1 with the camera. Depending on the look, I like the combination of Easyrig without gimbal.
