Now that my Dad is gone, I watch Tim anytime I want to remember those childhood memories! So growing up we actually had our own resident Santa. All our parents knew him and i actually knew his neice and nephew. But he got this reputation because he was the guy everyone booked as Santa. Where my mom use to work they had this family friendly Christmas party called "Breakfast with Santa Claus." He grew out his beard and everything and it was naturally grayish white. And because our parents knew him (along with the whole county), he knew all of our names which made it that much more believable. In the summer he also drove an ice cream truck and yes he used it to his advantage. To us, Santa used an ice cream truck to work on his naughty or nice list. Especially because where I lived at the time was the last place you'd expect to see an ice cream truck. But there was enough kids around that he made a special trip for us. As I got older I learned his real name but everybody where ever he went still called him Santa. Sadly he passed away a few years ago with health issues. He was responsible for a lot of the Christmas magic for thousands and thousands of kids here. And I love telling this story about him.

To all those reading this, it's not a plea for pity. I just want to say how great a man Tim Allen is and how much respect I have for him... my father died this past September, and had been struggling with his health for awhile. Tim Allen was a favorite of his. I watched all of his stand ups, movies, series.. it's a struggle to even see Tim Allen in interviews with how much my father respected him. But I'm trying to watch the santa clause without crying haha. Thank you for being an influence to me and my father.

Tim, hit it on the nail for me, I felt the same as him when doing an African safari. I'm in this large park with incredible animals in huge groups and I felt so confined. Even at the lodge, we had a small area we can walk without supervision.

Awwww man childhood favorite here. Home Improvement on Friday nights with the family infront of the TV watching him with our TV dinners. Miss those days. Loved him in For Richer or Poor ft Kristie alley r.i.p. and jungle 2 jungle is a classic also every Christmas I make sure to watch Santa Claus. And now I got a little one definitely passing that down to her and her siblings to keep the tradition going on.

Tim Allen you're awesome . Grew up as a kid watching home improvement. Watching reruns on Hulu right now currently. Santa Claus was awesome. Toy story and everything else you do the list is too long.
