@@seanisty there’s no sugar-coating it; Tim Anderson has been the worst player in baseball for the last two years. Tim should have anticipated these questions. If anything, AJ was being nice trying to put a positive spins on these questions and trying to hype up TA7. Tim could have acknowledged his past failures and explained how he is going to get better, but instead he got angry when the obvious was pointed out - that Tim hasn’t been the same player he once was. It can be hard to hear that you aren’t performing well anymore, but you have to expect that from the media. It’s a part of being a professional ballplayer.

I wish him well .... not the first person to have the world at his feet then have everyone jump on the bandwagon when things go bad. People said this interview was rough. But the last 5-10min were actually pretty great. TA opened up when talking about what he needs to do going forward. He just didn’t want to talk about the downfall of the Sox or getting knocked out on the field.

Afterrrer watching the interview, he is so sensitive to criticism! How can coaches work with him??
