I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. And if you choose to leave me, girl, I'll understand I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. Just like the Mississippi Our journey starts in Minnesota Take I-35 to 90: Sioux Falls, South Dakota Big "Hi, " to that country road. Are we gonna make it on down? She said, "Yeah, Tim. Aw, Good to see ya. Hope you all stay around." The future's not the hardest to see. Do what you do girl, But please don't leave. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. And if you choose to leave me, girl, I'll understand I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. Get down when I wanna, man. Get through the darkest night. We were born to ride, now baby, Ride until the morning light Took a trip down to Kansas, Missouri, then Arkansas. Stayed with her sister, That girl's above the law. The future's not the hardest to see. Do what you do girl, But please don't leave. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. And if you choose to leave me, girl, I'll understand I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. It's a mad house, baby. Fast women, cocaine, and booze. Toughest of the roughest, (right) I got nothing to loose. Before I met ya, Everything was going wrong. It's been a long journey, now Girl I wanna take you home. The future's not the hardest to see. Do what you do girl, But please don't leave. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can. And if you choose to leave me, girl, I'll understand I'm gonna hold on to you as long as I can.

How can you not like this song? There's something about it that connects with you on some deep, subconscious level. If you don't like this song I wonder if you're really human.

This album is incredible, Tim is incredible, and the fact that he made this in 2007 while RBF was in the middle of a spiral, LTJ was experimenting, and Streetlight was the only ska band putting out a good album makes it all the more fresh and original. (Actually I think Massive by The Supervillains came out around then too, but still this album is such a trip man)

you don't become a sellout when you sign to major label, cause hey everybody loves fame, you become sellout when you start doing things for the money and not the music
@theevildrummingsithlord14924 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Sometimes, joining a major label and doing things for the money and not for music can go hand in hand.

The idea of being punk and staying punk rock has nothing to do with succeed you want your punk bands 260 that’s what they do for a living. They’re not sell out whatsoever with 1 million he made from an outcome. The wolves made hellcat which is not a major label that owned by bad religion frontman Races are definitely not sell out because they took that money instead of buying expensive things they made side projects and people make fun of skinhead raw from the transplants, but think about it. Tim gave his roadie who picked up his microphone every time he dropped it on stage a job and a. They’re not manufactured industrialized, hellcat, and epitaph. Let the bands have much more stay in what comes out of the production and Lars side bang that someone was talking about and one of these statements is produced by Tim hellcat to them. This is their family and do a lot of the fans as well now offspring is definitely in my opinion considered sellout, they were signed epitaph brett and his wife mortgage their house just to put out their records because they got so big. They owe them one more record and they bounced on them and signed a major record label and look at them now they’re singing the same songs that in the 90s looking, dumb went from, pretty darn pretty fly for a white guy and they sound stupid singing the same stuff as 60-year-old man whereas rancid has evolved clean and silver and has produced and hit after maybe not on the level of the red hot chili peppers or Pearl Jam, which I have respect for some of their band members, but they are major bands that probably had to do things to get there that they did not want to do if you don’t look what happened to Kurt Cobain, Bradley Nowell, Lainey Stanley, Mike Starr, Shannon Hoon, Chris Cornell, Chester Benningfield, Scott, Weiland, Taylor Hawkins. The list goes on and on whether you like the bands or not almost as soon as they sign, you want them to become successful if they resist they end up overdosed or whatever because they’re worth more dead than alive at this point

Sorry, not a sell out. Did he make a lot of money, yes. Did he change his music to make that money, no!!!!
@TELAFREAK101211223349 жыл бұрын
bones27 I find it so ironic that some hardcore 'punks' say that not selling out is all about sticking to the man and stuff when (rather ironically) they heard it from someone on a stage or something and use that as their own criteria. In my opinion THAT is selling out. Personally I think punk is about exactly what you want, playing by your own rules. So yeah, just because Tim has a lot of well deserved money doesn't make him a sellout. He keeps making awesome music for his fans, and I guess sometimes that's all that matters.

Why he is sellout? Because he is/was with Blink? Why ppl always associate a person because of his existence in some or other band and forgetting his talent. I bet u didn't even hear how talented drummer he is. I listen to the music band makes and don't care about the character of the members.
