For the past year I have always associated emptiness with what early childhood feels like: no awareness of any self or specific thing and yet there was playing with your friends, walks with your parents, emotions, arguments between your parents, sad experiences, creating all sorts of things like cities out of legos, gazing at objects. And only “later” in the story came the self and said “I was like this and that, now I am like this and that” , “I have trauma because of that and now I am suffering” , “Childhood was better than what is now”. So, this is what it feels like here when I hear emptiness and something sees it directly, however there is still this element of fantasy still going in circles here. Yeah, and it’s all empty even with those fantasies hanging around, it’s just that my head hurts.
