Watch Full Interview: • Tim Donaghy, Former NB...
Part 1: • Tim Donaghy on Becomin...
Part 3: • Tim Donaghy Describes ...
--------
Tim Donaghy shared the story of a tense situation he had with star player Rasheed Wallace. During a blowout game, despite Portland’s 20-point lead, Rasheed disagreed with a foul call by referee Scott Wall, which led to him throwing the ball at Wall’s back. Based on his own assessment of Rasheed’s intentions, Tim issued him a technical foul that heightened the player's resentment. Post-match, Rasheed, apparently incensed over the monetary deduction for the technical foul, even tried to confront Tim physically. The league’s decision to suspend Rasheed for a significant period was partly due to his history of being a problematic player. When Rasheed returned from his suspension, the tension rekindled in his first game back, which Tim happened to officiate, resulting in another technical foul for Rasheed.

What that got to do with this tho? Sheed threw a ball at a ref and got a deserved technical. Sheed was OD too much and as good of a player he was he cost his team games at times during his career. Loved his passion tho he deserved 95 percent of the techs he got.

@@California-king on inside the NBA back in the late 90s. They ask coaches why do they allow players to argue with ref. They said they encourage them to get in the refs for ear any possible advantages. Why do u think coaches don't get on players for it during games. U rarely see a coach tell a player stop talking to the ref.

I use to be a hardcore basketball fan. Now days i barely follow it, just after realizing these ref are trained to target certain players and and let other players slide like the main star players in the nba. To a degree they are actually being referees but there is also a lot of rigging going on. Even though rasheed was a hot head i believe he knew how the nba was run, and thats what made matters worse. Also nba makes a certain amount of money also on any source of betting on the sport. Anything that generates large sums of money is usually rigged. The funny thing is there are some diehard nba fans who will let you know its rigged when their team is losing, but when they are winning they disregard the rig😂😂😂😂😂😂

exactly, pro sports are businesses and the main goal of a business is to make money. I remember seeing an interview with donaghy during the 2016 finals with GS/Cle and GS was up 3-1 and everybody thought it was over. The host asked Donaghy about the series and he said "the league wants cleveland to win", the host asked him what he meant and Donaghy just repeated it and they ended the ended the interview. And what happens after that, Draymond gets suspended and Steph is in foul trouble the next 2 games. That's when i knew without a shadow of a doubt that the NBA is rigged.

@FUKZU The Christian meaning of "brotherly love" is basically 'love thy neighbor'. The term 'Philadelphus' is a Greek term which basically means 'marry your sister'. The founders of the city of Philadelphia misinterpreted the Greek term and named the city 'Philadelphia'.

No one liked this guy except for the few who identify with his "I'm being picked on" mentality. Do you think he has the NBA record for T's because he was being singled out? Dongahy was a good official, one of the last of the real ref's who knew how to call a game, not the programed clowns that are part of the "new" NBA and it's woke nonsense.
