Worlds greatest. Pure, simple, underrated! Thank you, Tim! Congratulations on your illustrious carrer!

The only reason Tim duncan isn't talked about as top 3 players of all time is because he gets no publicity. He gets no publicity because he doesn't create it. He only cares about his team and family and I idolize this man. Love him as a player and he just redefined how to post up and dominate in the paint. The game of basketball is so fast and when you see everybody sprinting and going all out then u see duncan get the ball and just watch him... He is so patient with it and just dominates

So underrated. He is better than Kobe if you compare their resumes, whether people like it or not.

Duncan was probably the most fundamentally sound player ever. He does everything he needs to score and that's it. He doesn't need all these fancy moves or anything to be dominant and great. He also doesn't need to rub in anyone's face, he has the most respect for his opponents and his fans and opponents' fans, and most of all for the game of basketball. He's great because his game is great, not because he talks. He shows little emotion, but defenitely has a heart of a lion. Great Video!

I never get enough of this video. Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, but lifelong Spurs fan. I've come to the decision that I will attend Tim Duncan's last home game in SA. Sad day when he retires.

Lifelong Spurs fan in Eugene, OR. Tim Duncan is my hero and my favorite athlete of all time. Tomorrow I get to see him play in person for the first time in my life as they play at Portland. I can't wait! It will be an honor to see this legend in person on the court!

The way Tim has played this season & playoffs alone, just sends me a little wondering thought that he knows something we dont, maybe he'll make 2012 his final year, & with his 5th NBA CHAMPIONSHIP as a goodbye gift.. Only god knows, god bless you timmy & thank you for all you have done for the city of San Antonio! Tim Duncan FOREVER!!!!

At that time, Duncan and Spurs were a rare breed in the NBA - a player and a team that really go back to basics and do them well.

I'm so glad I got to meet him during the summer playing paintball. We were on the same team. He was very cool gentle guy to be honest before we started the game. He quietly asked each of us where we were going. Once the whistle blew Tim was a beast. I mean before I could make it to the nearest obstacle for cover he was already in middle taking people out!! Shame tho cuz we lost! LOL. Our team sucked but he wasn't angry he just said Good Game!

Tim Duncan - NBA Rookie Of The Year, 1st Team NBA All Star, 4 Time NBA Champion, 3 Time NBA Finals MVP. Also owns the NBA Finals record in 2003 with the most blocks with 32 with nearly a quadruple performance of 21 points 20 rebounds 10 assists and 8 blocks vs the New Jersey Nets in game 6 of the NBA Finals. San Antonio has made the playoffs 14 consecutive years which is an NBA record not to mention that Tim Duncan played all his seasons for one team with his accomplishments speaks volumes.

I'm gonna cry so much when Timmy retires. I'm dreading the day that the Spurs walk out on that court and I don't see 21 in the bunch. He's one of the best things to happen to San Antonio. Timmy will get one more ring before he retires, wait and see. The way things are going, it could be this season.

tim duncan is the most classiest, most humble, and modest player i've ever seen. He never talked trash, he never throws his teammates under the bus, which reminds me of someone (kobe), never demands for a trade, never gets into trouble (raping, club incidents, dui's altercations with teammates or coaches) and is the most consistent and dominant power forward ever. he would get 20 and 10 EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and you wouldnt even notice becuase its so easy for him. Oh, and he also won 4 titles.

No one can deny his greatness he might be the most gifted athelte in the history of basketball and maybe sports. Dude's 6'9 and runs like a gazelle and finishes like no other.

Tim Duncan is the classiest player in the history of the NBA. He never talks trash, never gets in trouble with his coach or players, great teammate, never throws his players under the bus or demand a trade like Kobe, and has won a championship with one of the worst teams ever in 2003.(David Robinson was very old, parker sucked back then, and ginobili sucked back then.)One of my favorite players

@Nati8410 Eugene, Oregon. Lived here my entire life. Right now I'm a student at the UofO. My entire family became Spurs fans when they drafted the Admiral, and we just haven't stopped loving them since, they're too classy not to love. I'm sure it was, and attending games at Autzen Stadium and Mac Court, I do have to say I certainly know something about rockin! We may be few, but we Oregon fans get loud!

Duncan was so consistent during the regular season because he knew how to save his energy for the playoffs, crunch time, which is when his team needed him the most. Another thing that amazes me is that he was able to beat the lakers who had the two best players in the game at the time (kobe and shaq) ALONE. He had a young tony parker who was NOTHING compared to kobe and ginobili wasnt so good either back then. Im talking about 2002-2003 if you dont know what Im talking about.

best post up player in the league. all the moves are in his arsenal. excellent backdown and face-up games. can play finesse or power depending on the situation. tremendous footwork. good passer. handles double and triple teams well. clutch. is money in the bank (shot). very good defender and shot blocker. will crash the boards. practically a 20 and 10 night in, night out. great leader, teammate, and person. humble and ego-less. fundamentally sound--a rarity these days. the best PF of all time.

Tbh, I think you are underestimating Tim Duncan's competitveness. He would never admit it, but im willing to bet that Tim would like to get more recognition around the country for just how great he was. Between him and Olajuwon, the best big man ever, nobody ever effected both sides of the court like those two, except maybe 1975 Kareem.

Here's proof of Timmy's greatness... If you watch his highlights BEFORE 2001 (i.e. before his knee injury) you can tell Tim used to be able to sky for rebounds and dunks. Since then he hasn't been able to jump over a phonebook - by his own admission. STILL, he has SINCE been a 2x MVP, 2xFinals MVP (his 1st finals mvp was before the injury), and consistently posted 20-10 stats! That's all without half of his natural - pre-injury - athleticism. T.D. is great because he wills himself to be great!!!

What sets Duncan apart from say Barkley or Malone is just his pure outright, individual domination in many games, including playoffs.
